June 2009 We visited Ingleside as a getaway before our second baby comes, the rooms are just as beautiful and charming as you see in the pictures. I was looking for a B and B close to Houston that was not the "rustic" or cowboy theme, Ingleside was exactly how it appears, charming, pure comfort and relaxed, soft. Connie was an attentive hostess at all the right times while my husband and I still felt total privacy. Thanks for a great stay.

We loved are two night stay at Ingleside B&B. The home is well preserved, up to date, many beautiful antique and family heirlooms for all to enjoy. The innkeeper cooks breakfasts beyond your imagination. You can even go home with her cookbook! We loved it and promise to return within the year.

From the warm welcome when you arrive, to the fruit and wine in the afternoon, and the delicious breakfast in the morning Ingleside Bed and Breakfast is great. We really enjoyed walking down town for the theater and street concert. This was so much better than the night life in Houston, and very romantic.

The innkeeper was very helpful and gracious. The common areas for all guests was very warm and comfortable. The 24 hour drinks and refreshments was delightful. The breakfast was out of the ordinary with something besides eggs and bacon and toast.

My husband and I came for a little getaway time to Ingleside B&B. We got so much more then expected. the accommodations were fantastic, Connie made us feel so welcome, and I don't think I could say enough about the breakfast, not only was the breakfast good, the presentation was excellent! The Ingleside is a spacious home within a block or two of the downtown historic district in Brenham, Texas. We have stayed in many B&Bs in California and were completely impressed with the size of the room, the location of the inn and the BREAKFAST! Connie, the innkeeper, is a charming hostess and treated us like members of the family. Having grown up in the house since the 1960s, Connie is very familiar with the history of the house and the history of Brenham. This was our first visit to Brenham and we would definitely go back to the Ingleside again.

We drove from Beaumont on Motorcycles to have a nice weekend away. The stay was perfect and we are already making plans to return. The house was beautiful, beds were great, and there were alot of common areas int he house to enjoy, we really felt like guests in her home! Great place to stay. The rooms were awesome. The food was magnificient.I got to stay in 2 different rooms and they were both very nice. The wildflower room was exceptional. Didn't particularly like the separate shower upstairs for The Princess room, but all in all it was good. Would definately go again.

What is not to like about Ingleside! Connie is, quite rightly, very proud of her B&B and it shows. Beautiful house, lovely guest rooms, great amenities (including a PC for guest use!) and a breakfast to die for! Was a wonderful two night get a way for our 35th anniversary. The old house and history to it was interesting, looking at all the antiques was fun, the room atmosphere was romantic, the breakfast was delicious and more than we could eat. Connie is a wonderful hostess and we can't wait to return and enjoy her family home again. The only problems we had was getting use to hearing the train go thru town all night long and not having enough time to spend there and relax sitting on the porch and drinking our wine.

Since we had never been to Brenham, we had very little information on places to stay. After doing a few internet searches, we decided on Ingleside. If we had spent months researching and conducting interviews, we could not have found a better place for us! Connie's hospitality is wonderful. We were greeted by name as we walked up to the door, and we were given a tour of the house like your aunt might give you when you arrive for a visit. Immediately, we felt relaxed and at home. Connie is somehow able to be around the house just enough. You always feel like your wants and needs are taken care of, although she also allows you the freedom and quiet you want. Of course, she also prepares an incredible breakfast! The house is gorgeous - beautiful rooms, a large front porch, and plenty of space. Our room, the Canopy Room, was secluded and quiet. Also, the location of Ingleside is perfect. It is walking distance from downtown Brenham, and a very short walk to a wonderful Italian restaurant. My wife, who is very picky about places to stay, is very eager to return. I hope we can go back soon!
