My wife and I have been frequent visitors to Gainesville for the last 5 years. If I can't get into the Laurel Oak Inn, well it's just not the same anywhere else. The breakfast is absolutely the best in town, the inn is wonderful, and Monta and Peggy welcome us like no one else. Do yourself a favor and book a night there.

Extremely nice property, great location and delightful people. Monta and Peg will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and their breakfasts are incredible. I intially made an email request to stay on a weekend in which they were booked, rather than just saying, "sorry we're booked" (which is what every other inn keeper wrote back) Monta took the time to write me several paragraphs with helpful hints on how and where to find an available room in town. Luckily, we ended up coming on a weekend they were open and had a wonderful time my only complaint is that it was too short of a stay:-) Marc and Bridget

A treat to be there. Charming, comfortable, and cozy. Breakfast was great, Innkeepers Monta and Peggy are a wealth of information and great hosts. A must stay again sort of place.
