My husband and I were just married at Southern Comfort B&B. Everything was absolutely wonderful! Sherry is amazing, I loved every minute of being there. Every detail of the wedding and our stay was personalized to us, we couldn't have been happier.

Our stay at Southern Comfort Bed and Breakfast was extremely nice. The Inn is very nicely decorated and well maintained. It is a very neat place with a lot of amenities that we have not found at other bed and breakfast facilities. Our room, the Dolphin Cove, was tastefully decorated and well maintained. This was the first B & B we have stayed in that had a kitchenette including a stove and refrigerator. The pool area and surrounding grounds are well maintained and we also had the option to pick grapefruit from a tree by the tennis courts to have with breakfast. We met Mike the evening of our arrival and he steered us to the Ybor City Grill 5 minutes away that has great food with a Caribbean flavor and a very friendly wait staff. Thanks, Mike for recommending the Ybor City Grill! We met Sherry the next morning who prepared a wonderful breakfast and showed us around the inn some more. Thanks Sherry for the wonderful breakfast and the other useful information about the facility and the local area! All in all, our stay at Southern Comfort Bed & Breakfast was very nice and we would stay there again. The only drawback we had was trying to find the place after dark. There is not a sign along Route 41 so we went too far and had to turn around.

This was our second trip back to the Inn this November. The place is quiet and the food is excellent. It's a perfect location for when we are visiting the in-laws.

We have stayed at Southern Comfort twice and hope to return. The service is incredible, pool and spa are delightful amenities. The rooms are lovely - we highly recommend this bed and breakfast, absolutely top notch!

I have never been to a B&B before, and Joe and Cathy made us feel right at home from the minute we walked in. They were very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was outstanding! We look forward to going back again.

We stayed at Southern Comfort Bed and Breakfast over the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend while we were visiting family nearby. Cathy and Joe made us feel comfortable and fully welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Christmas decorations were already in place, so it was easy to shift into festive holiday mode. Conversation with our hosts was easy and available, but they respected our privacy as well. Our stay was outstanding in all ways, especially the breakfasts! Cathy made nutritious, gourmet feasts to start each of our days. We are looking forward to returning, not only to enjoy this special B&B, but also to kayak on the beautiful river nearby and more fully explore this lovely area.

What a gem! Joe & Cathy have perfected southern hospitality. And yes, Rudy too. The Inn was immaculate, peaceful, and felt just like home. It was the last stop on our trip and made it perfect. My family stayed at Southern Comfort to enjoy and celebrate both a milestone anniversary for my parents, and a reunion for our family. My husband and I made the Dolphin Cove Room at the Southern Comfort Bed and Breakfast our home away from home for 8 days while in the area for a National Lawn Bowls competition. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. We were new to the bed and breakfast world and could not have had a better first experience. The breakfasts each morning were like something out of Gourmet magazine. We had something new and wonderful each morning. I really enjoyed the hot tub. The weather was a bit cool for me to use the wonderful pool. The hospitality was what I imagine when I think of southern hospitality. Cathy and Joe are great at what they do. We also saw the suite and it is like a full apartment and a wonderful place to stay. We would highly recommend staying at the Southern Comfort Bed and Breakfast.

I wanted to suprise my husband with a night away from the kids for his birthday. Cathy had a birthday bottle of wine waiting in the room when we arrived. The setting of the home is peaceful and the grounds well kept. The dolphin room was elegant and incredibly clean. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing. I ordered the romantic dinner for the two of us and was very pleased with the service and the quality of the food. The chef was happy to prepare to our tastes and requests. There were several other guests but we did not hear nor see them until the morning of check out when we were eating breakfast. All in all a great experience!!

Our stay at the Southern Comfort B & B in Ruskin, Florida was comfortable, relaxing, and exceeded out expectations. The owners of the B & B were really helpful whenever we needed anything (appointment for hair cut, directions, served us breakfast after we over slept the first morning...). One night during our stay we had a private dinner at the B & B that was delicious. We really enjoyed being pampered and can't wait to go back.

Stayed here twice. Innkeeper very friendly. Love the dog. Breakfast is OUTSTANDING. Big, comfortable, sprawling home with lovely screened in swimming pool, tennis courts, jacuzzi and other unusual amenities.
