We spent the first night of our new life together at the beautiful westwynd farm B&B....everything was perfect. We were greated with warmth and hospitality. The room was beautiful! The never ending cookies, brownies, coffee and tea were outstanding. We went for a walk to the barn and met a wonderful man who let us feed the horses. He introduced us to each horse, and made the night a memory that will last a lifetime. I am so glad we had the chance to spend time at westwynd farm...It was everything they promised and more.

Wonderful B&B with plenty of space for guests to relax outside of their room. There are 3 lounge / den / living rooms for guests to relax in and several outdoor seating areas plus private patios. The room we stayed in was so spacious complete with brand new jacuzzi. The facility was recently renovated. Fresh cookies and cakes served all day and breakfast was great. The Hershey area is fun and relaxing with many more things to do than just visit the park. Loved it and would go back again!!!

My fiance surprised me with this trip after being gone all summer for training. It was absolutely wonderful! It was both of ours first B&B experience and I don't think we could have asked for a better time. Everyone was so helpful, great suggestions for dinner and directions to help us get places. The food was just delicious and everything just seemed so relaxed. It was a nice romantic way to end our summer together. We're even talking about going back for our Honeymoon :-)

I have stayed at Westwynd Farm several times and have always been extremely pleased. Carolyn and Frank are wonderful, the food is excellent, and the rooms are clean and well kept. My husband and I always remark that it's like staying at your own home, only cleaner and better equipped. They also have some really nice pets and horses. Make sure you say hi to the dogs and cat.

My husband surprised me on our wedding night with a night in the Roman Cannon Suite. We were welcomed with freshly baked goodies, and our room was waiting for us. Carolyn the innkeeper was wonderful, and she had breakfast ready for us bright and early so we could catch our flight to the Bahamas. We plan to return on our first anniversary!

We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts, but this remodeled farmhouse has topped the list. The setting is absolutely gorgeous with a view, the outside areas are expertly landscaped, a particularly inviting spot by the waterfall and pond, not to mention the wrap around porch with rockers. The stables and horses were a delight. Our room, the Bright Flash was very comfortable with a large bathroom, fireplace, jacuzzi and a walk in closet! The inside of the inn was filled with antiques, not fussy but lovely. Three large common areas, one with a fridge full of refreshment and (my favorite) Hershey's chocolate everywhere! The Gourmet Breakfast was a real treat, scrumptious and filling and we chose the time. Carolyn and Frank are warm and accomodating. The proximity of the inn to our concert at Hershey Park Stadium can't be beat!!

My compliments to the Troxell's for running such a beautiful B&B. Our room was lovely, with a large comfortable bed. The grounds were beautiful, and we even made friends with the cat, AJ, who we found in our room when we first checked in--we have a cat at home, so this was fine with us. Besides the usual amenities you might expect for a top-class B&B, the Inn included home baked goodies and just about all the Hershey's candy you could eat (after all, we were only about three miles from Hershey, PA). The Inn also provided bottled water, soda, beer and wine, for no charge. While the Inn was full our first night, the building is so well constructed we never heard our neighbors at night. The common rooms were also very comfortable to sit in while we read the paper. My wife and I have been to three B&Bs in the last five or so years, and the Inn was easily the best. My wife already has a couple of co-workers who are interested in visiting.

Located on a horse farm in rural Pennsylvania about 5 minutes north of Hershey, the Inn at Westwynd Farm provided us a spacious, clean, charmingly decorated room well equipped with Cable TV, CD Player, free WiFi internet, and of course, Hershey's Chocolate. The bed was large and comfortable. The gas fireplace in the room was an extra nice touch. The house has many available public areas that guests can use and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and plan to visit again.

My boyfriend and I have stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast twice now (about 45 minutes from home) and both times have been absolutely wonderful! The last time we stayed (12/29/08) we spent the evening over at Christmas in Hershey and my boyfriend proposed! We stayed for one night in the 'Killarney' room, which was just lovely. Pretty decor in a hunting theme, comfy bed, great views. The Inn itself is beautiful- not old, but very well decorated and themed. We were greeted by Carolyn and shown all around the house. There were 4 different kinds of homemade treats available, plus tea and coffee or beer and wine. We were free to walk around the grounds, which we did. The Inn is surrounded by rolling hills and is perfectly tranquil, and yet only a short drive from Hershey. After a wonderful nights sleep, the breakfast the next day was quite a banquet, all homemade and nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this place highly enough and we hope to go back very soon.

I have stayed here a number of times. It is a luxurious home away from home, a horse farm in the beautiful rolling hills outside of Hershey. Each room is beautifully appointed with many antiques and personal touches and very comfortable beds. Carolyn and Frank Troxell are delightful hosts with many interests ranging from horses, to skiing, car racing, travel, their family and grandchildren. Like me, they have many repeat guests who they welcome back as part of their extended family.

My husband and I just finished our second stay at this wonderful Inn. We love the way that Carolyn and Frank make you feel like you are at home. Carolyn is an excellent cook and breakfast is out of this world. My husband loves the fresh baked goods that are set out daily for the guests to enjoy. We were greeted with a warm welcome and decadent desserts. Marc and I stayed in the Kilarney Room which included a two person jacuzzi and fireplace. We had our choice of listening to soft music while soaking in the jacuzzi and watching the fire. The lighting was soft and elegant. Fresh robes were provided to us. Attached to our room was a warm and cozy living room with a refrigerator generously stocked for our enjoyment. Carolyn and Frank really know how to make you feel at home! My niece and I stayed at the Westwynd Farm from 9/30/07 thru 10/3/07. It was her first B&B experience/my 7th B&B. We could not have asked for more gracious hosts, wonderful breakfasts and treats in a serence setting. It was a breath of fresh air. If you love the outdoors and horses there is no better place to stay. There are many attractions in the Hershey area to visit/if you are seeking peace and quiet then Westwynd Farm offers that too. A group of us from US and Canada took over the Inn for 4 days while attending an event in Hershey. Carolyn and Frank really made us feel at home. My husband and I unfortunately stayed for only one night as we had come for the Pennsylvania Quilt Extravaganza in Harrisburg. Carolyn and Frank (the owners/innkeepers)were welcoming, relaxed, and incredibly helpful with suggestions for dinner, directions and maps to requested locations, and advice about local places of interest. Their home is meticulously maintained and extremely comfortable. We had a door from our room leading directly to the wrap around porch where we were able to sit with a glass of wine and overlook a beautiful garden with cascading waterfall and pond with koi. There were sumptuous homemade nibbles for us to have anytime and the guest fridge was generously stocked with wine, beer, soda, and water. Our breakfast was superb and served when we requested it (we didn't have to be seated when the innkeeper requested but we were asked in the evening what time we'd like to have breakfast served and our request was graciously accomodated) The horses gambolled in the field as we read the morning paper and sipped coffee on the porch. I was almost tempted to skip the quilt show and stay another day at Westwynd! I have stayed in many B&B's and this is definitely one of the nicest. It is very close to Hershey, convenient to the many sites of the Amish countryside, and within 20 minutes of Harrisburg. I will definitely stay there again next year!

This is a wonderful place for a getaway from the daily grind without giving up the comforts of home! The room was wonderful with a private deck and more than enough space. Carolyn has made every effort to make sure her guests are comfortable. Some nice touches include a guest fridge stocked with complimentary beverages, several common rooms with movies and popcorn, plently of complimentary munchies, chocolates in every room, wonderful food including cookies and scones available any time your heart desires. Really a wonderful place in a truly peaceful setting, but close to attrations and food. Try Sacha's Hideaway for a romantic dinner.

I went to the Inn at Westwynd Farm for a get away by myself. Carolyn, the innkeeper, was extremely helpful with directions and anything else that I needed. The views from the Inn were incredible. The rooms were so clean and well appointed with amentities. Sit by any window and see horses grazing, rolling hills and the Hotel Hershey in the far distance. This is definitely an inn that can "take you away". The innkeeper, Carolyn, is eager to make your stay special. She accommodated our "low refined carb" diet in style. She is always available to give great hints on things to do and spots for dining. The inn offers great amenities~freshly baked snacks, drinks, microwave popcorn and granola bars arounbd the clock. The inn has large rooms and all with bathtubs that are meticulously clean. The 3 sitting areas had blazing fires-very cozy! The farm animals were worth a walk to the barn. The alpacas are so sweet. I would highly recommend this inn as one of my very favorites for friendliness, comfort, peacefulness, and great breakfasts! A great value in a wonderful location!
