I decided to surprise my husband for a weekend away because he does so many nice things for me. Even though Grandville wasn't too far from where we live, a night away, to be pampered, is a nice treat. We stayed in the French Riviera, and it was beautiful. The room was cozy and warm. Super clean and well decorated. The jacuzzi and fireplace set the scene for a romantic night with my favorite guy. The hosts went beyond the call of duty and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Book your weekend away....you won't be disappointed!

Cheri & Paul but mostly Cindy, You made our first stay at a B&B as a new husband & wife very special. We were both impressed with all aspects of the room. Audra enjoying the crystal candle holders & the whirlpool & I loved the jetted shower, the food and the bed [that was real tough to get out of]. We would like to thank Cindy personally for the five star service and dor the delicious breakfasts! Also, for the tours of the rest of the guest rooms combined with everything else we will always recommend Prairieside Suites to everybody and look forward to our definite stay in the future!

This has been the best B&B experience ever! Our room was luxuriously magical with an endless list of amenities, in fact I wish I could take the bathroom home with me! This bed and breakfast was just what we needed to escape. The house was beautiful and the flowers surrounding the house were in full bloom. The Southern Mansion room was romantic and stunningly decorated. We were very relaxed and felt at home. We can't wait to come back in the winter and take advantage of the fireplace!

Hi Cheri and Paul. I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to send you a note following our stay at your b & b. You have a beautiful home and your advertisement of 'luxury' suites is most definitely a true statement. Our room (and your entire home, for that matter) was out of this world! All the details, like snacks in the kitchen and extras in our room made it an extra special stay. I have never seen anything like that hot water dispenser in the kitchen! Everything was just stunning and Adrienne sure enjoyed her own little private space too. We were so comfortable, I wish we could have stayed longer. Unfortunately, we had to move on to continue our travels through Michigan. But we can't wait to return !! Hope all is well with you folks. Sincerely Joyce & Jack.

This was the best stay my husband and I ever experienced. The room was spotless and had everything you could imagine from a wine bottle cooler to European shower jets, and heated tile floor. We only got to stay for one night, but that was the most romantic night we experienced since our honeymoon almost 10 years ago. The grounds were beautiful with a fountain and an in ground pool with a waterfall flowing into it. I would recommend this stay to everyone. If you haven't experienced a bed and breakfast, you should start with Prairieside Suites, you will always return because there is nothing else out there like them.

This was the most outstanding place we have ever stayed. We love to travel and have many comparisons, but this B&B was the most luxurious, pampering experience ever. The room Decor was fantastic, every comfort thought of and provided, right down to the heated bathroom floor and toilet seat! The pool was refreshing, the gardens beautiful, and our hosts friendly and aproachable. The food was delicious, spa services relaxaing, you can't go wrong by choosing this Luxury Suite.

My husband and I went here for our 10th anniversary and it was wonderful! Cherri was very nice and we had all the privacy we needed. This bed and breakfast is in a great location, small town feel but lots to do around here. The rooms were just gorgeous! Cherri decorates them just lovely and the room had all the little touches of being in a luxury hotel! And breakfast the next day was just wonderful, they even went out of the way to cook me something different from everyone else since I had an allregy to eggs! we would 100% come back to stay here again, I would recomend this place to anyone looking for a great escape and a really nice bed and breakfast to stay at, thanks Cherri

My fiance and I were looking for a nice luxurious stay, but on late notice. I looked this place up and dialed the number, and was surprised to actually get the owner at this hour (10-11pm). I wanted somewhere nice to take my wife of 17 years, being in the Navy has caused me to move around alot. We just got back to the states after 5 years in Japan. I was blessed to find Praireside Suites while surfing the internet. The Staff there blessed us with there warm customer service and smiles. They were right. After we read this review we filled the whirlpool in the room next door, turned it on and it was loud! We immediately had it repaired, their was something wrong with the motor. From the heated floors, towel racks, and toilet seat, to the gas log fireplace, whirlpool tub, dual European shower, this room was Heaven! This beautifully decorated Italian inspired room was so relaxing and quiet. the staff was very personable and the breakfast incredible. A luxury stay at a reasonable price. The English Cottage in the Praireside Suites served as our home away from home. Besides being beautiful to look at, it had practically anything we could have asked for - starting with welcome juices in the small refrigerator in our room. After our long drive, the cool drinks were refreshing and filling. The snow was scenic, but the heated toilet seat and heated towel racks were an extra comfort in cold Michigan. We had brought a wedding veil for my daughter's reception and I was able to get out the wrinkles with the handy iron and mini ironing board. The room was equipped with a home office, and the latest in home furnishings. The breakfasts were tasty and filling, and beautifully presented. We would definitely recommend the Praireside Suites to anyone visiting the area.

A very nice time!! Cheri was very accomodating, and Cindy... so nice, and boy can she make an omlette! Our time was relaxing and very enjoyable. Only minus comment I could make... and isn't really negative... it would be nice to see them move up in techonology and get Flat screen TVs in the rooms. Thanks for making our Twentieth memorable! Looking forward to visiting again sometime.

When guest book a reservation with us they have the choice of a full hot breakfast in the dining room OR a deluxe continental breakfast can be packed in the room refrig for them to eat in the privacy of their room. This is the choice of the person booking the room. Our full breakfast in the dining room starts with a scone or muffin, and with a bowl of fruit, then we serve our entree which might be an omelet with toast OR biscuits & gravy with eggs OR french toast with eggs. Accompanied by coffee, tea or hot cocoa served in our beautiful candle lite dining room with a fireplace on one end and a huge china cabinet on the other. You'll feel like royalty! I think this person's significant other thought they would like to snuggle and sleep in so HE picked the deluxe continental breakfast in their room and SHE was disappointed. So MEN listen up...WOMEN love to come out for breakfast!

I traveled there for business last summer. It was such a nice change from staying in a hotel. I was truly touched when Cheri called to ask me what I liked to drink, what kind of snacks I preferred. Definitely not a typical business trip! I did not get the opportunity to dine with the Antozaks, but she left baked goodies in the kitchen for an anytime snack. Very nice touch! Everything about our stay was incredibly romantic. There was a whirlpool tub for two (with colored lights in the tub!) and a fireplace for ambiance. There was a European jetted shower for two. The linens on the incredibly soft bed were luxurious and the room decor also also helped the romantic feel. The breakfasts were fabulous and you could choose to get a continental breakfast with lots of food in your room if you wanted to snuggle and sleep in. We'll be back!!!

This was our second time staying at Prairieside Suites, and it was just as great as the first! Everything was outstanding from the complimentary cookies in the afternoon to the wonderful breakfast on Sunday morning! Our favorite ammenity in the English Cottage had to be the heated toilet seat! My husband and I stayed 2 nights. It is a very beautiful home. You can tell right away that alot of thought was put into creating a home away from home. We stayed in the Southern Mansion room. Very nice. The king size bed was very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed watching a couple of movies from the large movie collection, and we also listened to a couple of cds from their collection. We were slightly disappointed with the size of the breakfasts. They were very delicious, but the portions were quite small. We will definately consider staying here again. There is alot to do nearby. Very nice location for a B&B!

Wow in six years this is the 1st time I've heard anything other than our breakfast are GREAT! I'll have to let YOU decide...each breakfast starts with a scone or muffin with a bowl of fruit, then we serve our entree which might be an omelet with toast OR biscuits & gravy with eggs OR french toast with eggs. We stayed in the Southern Mansion for one night and regretted it instantly...we should have stayed for 2 or 3!! The decor of this room was exquisite. The bed was huge and comfortable, with ample pillows and dimmable light controls right near your head. The jacuzzi comfortably fit two and was very romantic with wine, a rose and candles! My wife loved the heated seat in the bathroom and fog-free mirror. Great snacks were available at all times and a pretty extensive movie collection as well. I only had two issues with our stay. First, the television is a little outdated and small (but I'm kind of a geek with t.v.'s), but my wife would have rather not had one at all. Second, we were asked what we wanted in our omlets for the next morning, but instead of omelets there were (delicious) scrambled eggs with cheese and onion. The french toast, however, was absolutely sensational! All in all, a tremendous night and we can't wait to get the chance to have a longer stay at Prairieside Suites!

Talk about exceeding expectations. This is the place! We arrived at the check-in time and were delighted we did. There was much to see and enjoy. The whole building and grounds were elaborately beautiful. There were many small details I think many sites would not have thought of providing. We stayed in the Southern Mansion Room (with the flowers and nonalcoholic wine package) and the experience was well worth it. Cheri and Paul (proprietors) were wonderful. Finally, the breakfast prepared and served by Cindy was truly scrumptious.

The Southern Mansion was exactly what I wanted for my special celebration. It had every amenity that I had imagined plus a few I hadn't thought of yet! These folks have found their niche and the guests get the benefit. Even our flat tire on a rainy morning didn't phase these two. Paul pumped it up and led us to his recommended repair shop and we didn't even get wet! Fantastic service! We DO hope to return again.

Wonderfully maintained property that's warm and inviting. The grounds are alive with blooming plants and shrubs that present a beautiful array of colors everywhere you look. Inside, care has been taken to meet every need from light snacks to soothing music. The place shines with immaculate care and the guest room was spacious and appointed with everything you would possibly need. Breakfast was very relaxed, well prepared with a pleasing variety. The proprietors were most gracious and hospitable making sure all our needs were met (even to the point of inflating a flat tire and leading us to a repair shop). Our only regret was that we couldn't stay another night.

My wife and I just stayed here, and it was wonderful. This was our first bed abnd breakfast experience and I dont think there will ever be one that can beat it. Cheri and Paul are wonderful people. Our stay at Prairieside Suites in the English Cottage was wonderful. We began our 4 nite stay with Jessica's massages,WOW, then relaxed in the outdoor swing, Cheri even brought us biscotti to go with our complimentary hot chocolate.We swam in the pool during the day & had a pool party one evening with Cheri, Paul, & other guests- now how many B&B's do that? My husband & I spent a night in the Southern Mansion room while on our honeymoon. The room was great! It looked just as nice as the photos online appeared. The breakfast that was available was stocked in our in-room refrigerator just waiting for us to get up & enjoy breakfast in bed, which was a great idea! We had never been to a B&B before, but we were celebrating our 1yr wedding anniversary and wanted to try something new. This B&B was fantastic! The house is gorgeous, the rooms are perfect and very comfortable. They made sure everything was to our personal preference. Cheri & Paul are wonderful people of God. We would definitely return!

Thanks for the wonderful service and hospitality! The room was immaculate, well-decorated and had every imaginable convenience. The grounds are also beautiful and well manicured! We'll be back to stay for a few days next time since we were unable to take advantage of the pool and gardens due to weather.

Cheri and Paul have made an effort to provide for all of your needs at Prairieside. They have all sort of "extras" hidden away in each room to make sure all of their guests are comfortable. The room was excellent, the food was superb, and Cheri was warm and friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

Our stay at the Prairieside Suites Luxury Bed and Breakfast was like a few nights in Heaven. It really was perfect. I have stayed in many bed and breakfast in the last few years. The rooms were wonderful and clean. There was nothing that was forgotten. They thought of everything. The service exceeded our expectations. The food was wonderful. Paul made some awesome pan cakes. Cheri had maps to all of the fun places to go in the area. The pool was refreshing... and the gardens were beautiful. It was a wonderful weekend to remember. Thanks for all the fun!!

I am a traveling sales representative and spend a lot of time away from home. I can not wait until my business takes me to Michigan so I can enjoy the, oh so lovely home of Cheri and Paul! Prairieside Suites are unbelievable! We stayed in the southern mansion room for the weekend and it was beautiful. Everything about this B & B is about attention to detail. The owners are friendly, warm, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, pampered, special, and relaxed. The grounds are inpeccable and the neighborhood is charming. We loved it and would go back again for a special getaway.

The Southern Mansion is wonderful, such a great experience! The Innkeepers were very kind and accommodating. We felt instantly comfortable and right at home. The whirlpool tub was so relaxing and our comfy large king size made us feel like royalty. The location is close to shopping malls, restaurants and movie theaters.

What a wonderful experience! My husband and I recently stayed at Prairieside Suites and have only good things to say! We had the pleasure of staying in a most romantic room - the Tuscan Villa. It was just as the pictures showed - beautiful decor, wonderful amenities, and a comfortable bed. Everything we needed, wanted, or forgot was there for us! Cheri and Paul, the owners, also added to the great experience. They were very pleasant and fun but also showed respect for our privacy (sometimes hit-or-miss with B&B owners). Breakfast was a delight! Fresh made-to-order omelets, homemade salsa, scones, fruit - the works! The formal dining room was also beautiful and added to the experience. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay at Prairieside Suites. We hope to return in the summer in order to enjoy the beautiful landscaping and outdoor pool. Highly recommended!

David and I decided at the last minute to get away for our anniversary night. We found the beautifully done website for Prairieside Suites and called to see if they could accomodate us. Right from the first hello from Cheri to the time we left on Sunday, we felt as if we had known she and Paul for a long time. Their B&B is delightful and a perfect destination for a romantic getaway! When you visit you will know as we do now, the reasons they have won so many awards. We will be telling all our friends about Prairieside and we look forward to returning. We celebrated our 30th wedding Anniversary and enjoyed this beautiful Inn, our suite was truly fabulous! Quiet times are precious and we really needed this getaway. We look forward to returning for every anniversary! After my husband's year long battle with Multiple Myeloma, a son serving in the USMC in Afghanistan, another in college, and our daughter busy with our two fabulous grandsons (which we have often), it was time for US! Surprising my husband with this time away was FUN (he says that's my favorite word!). But next time SUMMER...that pool looked real FUN! Cheri was even sweet enough to call me to tell me I left my favorite jeans there and she's mailing 'em out to me in the morning! LOL... above and beyond Cheri & Paul! Your place is AWESOME! Highly recommended.

Quiet, Peaceful! Room decorated with thought and elegance. Warm bathroom floor and comode were a delightful sensual surprise. By far the warmest Valetine Memory for us. Paul made us feel right at home with his well prepared breakfast omelet, fruit cup and fresh from the oven scones. Delightful!

This was a first time in a B&B and it was the most relaxing weekend away we have ever had. The room looked exactly like the picture on the website and was more beautiful in person. The service was outstanding, Cheri, Paul and their staff were all so attentive and very very nice. The breakfasts were so yummy, on the first morning we had delicious omlettes, fresh scones, and toast, and more. The second morning we had the yummiest French Toast, it was not just your regular French Toast she said she put a little Irish Cream in it and cake batter, it was the best. I would recommend this B&B to anyone, and we will be returning for future weekends.

Wow...what a great place! What you see on the webpage is exactly the way it looks in person. We had a great stay in the Tuscan Villa. Paul and Cheri are very friendly and sincere...but not pushy as some innkeepers tend to be. The rooms are very private and you may never know if there are other guests if that's how you like it. The area is great with LOTS of shopping and resturants right down the road. We will be recommending this B&B to all of our friends!!!

My husband and I are from Lansing and we own our own business along with having 3 children. We were looking to get away but not go to far. It looks like a nice house in a small neighbourhood, but wait until you go inside! It is like stepping into the royal palace with the Queen's botanical gardens in the courtyard! We had plenty of privacy so that our stay was still romantic, yet we enjoyed dining with the other tenants in the morning. I have never stayed in such luxurious quarters and I consider myself to be quite well travelled. Cheri and Paul were friendly and thoughtful. There were tennis courts nearby and they lent us their thermos so that we could bring cold water along, and packed us some bread to feed the ducks. Everything was perfect and I was sad to leave!
