It has fifteen rooms, each with private bath and some with in-room whirlpool tubs. Each room has its own color TV/VCR, telephone and individual climate control and computer ports. Two large suites offer ample room for a family of four. Many bedrooms have their own working gas fireplaces.

There are four ways to get to Dartmouth from our Inn - Route 5, Route 10, Interstate 91 and down River Road to Route 10. The mileage on all four is 12 - 15 miles and takes between 18 - 20 minutes. River Road has been designated by the State of New Hampshire as a scenic roadway as if follows the path of the river. After the road received its designation you are not allowed to alter the integrity of the road. On River Road there is a 3/4 of a mile hard-packed dirt section. That is the only unimproved section on any of roads leading into Hanover (Dartmouth). In fact the speed limit on all roads is 55 - 65 except in population centers.
Our rooms range in size and amenities but all toilets are behind closed doors. We do offer privacy screens for those guests who are not comfortable with the room arrangement or who are traveling with children. We take pride in the cleanliness of the rooms and of the Inn and our housekeepers take special pains to make sure all is in top order.
This guest stayed with us on Columbus Day Weekend. It is our busiest weekend of the year as 500,000 people come into the Upper Valley to view the colors. While most lodging facilities hike their rates at this time, we do not. They were attending a reunion at Dartmouth and Dartmouth each year reserves all our rooms for potential reunion attendees. They stayed one night, expressed their unhappiness and we acted accordingly. We returned their payment except for the night they stayed and then made several phone calls to other lodging properties to see if we could secure them lodging elsewhere. They stayed in Hanover at one of the chain properties.
I am sorry that their experience was an unpleasant one but we have successfully catered to thousands of Dartmouth families in the last 10 years. We host Dartmouth families as sons and daughters enter as freshman; on freshman and sophomore parents' weekends; on graduation; on reunion;and even on wedding day.
