Almost Heaven is wonderful. We arrived very exhausted and they made us feel so welcome. They bent over backwards to take care of us. Wonderful host, fabulous home with all we could want. Breakfast was outstanding. The location is the best you will find with easy access to everything. Public transportation, metro within walking distance. The home is very clean, bathrooms sparkle, as for privacy we had plenty. We had the top floor all to our selves. Our bedroom was very spacious as was our bath. Our bathroom was filled with numerous towels, bath cloths and amentities. You will be in Paradise at Almost Heaven

Wonderful host, very clean home. Wonderfully and tastefully decorated. We stayed in the Top of the World on the 3rd floor, Very private, only suite on that floor, plush pillows, decorated in all matching decor which appeared to be Ralph Lauren, soft reds, golds, tans, etc, matching sheets, pillows, towels, every elegant. Had our own microwave and ref. A few sitting chairs, large room with plenty of space. Used my wireless the entire time. TV has all the 200 plus channels, all the sports, which my hubby loved. Located in a perfect location to walk to the metro. We walked some days and drove some days. Too many choices for weekly breakfast. Host are so helpful, there when we needed them and not in our way of enjoying ourselves. Wonderful place to stay with wonderful warm friendly people. We felt very welcomed and safe Jamie and Fred

I can't explain my dismay when arriving at Almost Heaven. I do not consider it a B&B, but a weekly room rental. The baths ARE NOT PRIVATE. Breakfast during the week was self-serve. You could not lock your room for the safety of your belongings. We left as early as possible and returned as late as possible each day and left two days early because we just couldn't take it anymore.

We enjoyed our stay at the bed and breakfast. Location was perfect, beds were well appointed, baths completely stocked. Breakfast was delicious, the bacon was delicous, not the little strips you get at the restaurant, but nice thick long strips seved with the best organic coffee. Breakfast was a treat. We enjoyed our stay and our host were very generous and most welcoming. Recommend to all.

We loved our stay at the Almost Heaven. The owners know the area, have numerous brochures of The District of Columbia, extremely close to Old Town without the hassel of parking. The rooms are large and expertly decorated. The pool was heavenly. Breakfast was perfect. This is a perfect location and easy access to all the public transportation and the Interstates. A hassel free and relaxing vacation for all. We love our stay and would recommend Almost Heaven to all travelers and business people. Jack and Judy

Beginning of may 2008 we stayed at "Almost heaven bed and breakfast" for 3 days. Two boys 14 and 15 and mom and dad. We stayed in the basement. Sounds funny but it was great. Boys loved it : pooltable, widescreen tv , basketball, gaming etc. We the parents had a seperate room with queensize bed and toilet and bathroom all for ourselves. Outside a swimmingpool. Great breakfast en fantastic hospitality. The house is located only a five minute drive from the metro station. No problems to park your car at the station and you are within 20 minutes by metro in the centre of washinton dc. If you are looking for a good place to stay for a good price, we can recommend this bed and breakfast

What a wonderful host and family!! the home is very large and well laid out as each room is on a different floor. We have privacy and met all the other guest at the breakfast. The beds are most wonderful, the best sleep ever. Usually I cannot sleep in other beds but this one was the very best, we were in teh Top of the World. It is a very large and spacious room, very private, the bath was clean and stocked with numerous fluffly towels and full size amentities. The location cannot be better. They are centrally located to eveything. The speedy Virigina Rail train took us to Union Station and then we took the blue line metro for other sight seeing. The host have the best book that list every stop on the metro, we were given our own personal copy. I think it is a military book but it was the best guide. The maps she gave us for Washington DC was splendid. Overall the stay was wonderful, the host were more than accomodating, and the food was fabulous. We recommend Almost Heaven to anyone travelling on business or pleasure.

Our stay at Almost Heaven was outstanding. The host are warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the area. The home is clean, beds well appointed, baths fully stocked with full size amentities, breakfast full and hearty, made to order and delicious. The location is the very best, next to the metro, convenient to all the sights, restaurants all around us, and a very safe atmosphere. Overall, it was beyond our expectations.

A friend and I recently spent a weekend at Almost Heaven and it lived up to it's name in every way. Our room ( the seclusion) was huge and wonderful and our hosts were great.. attentive,but not overbearing. The food was great and we even got directions from our hosts to attractions we wanted to visit in the area. Id highly recommend this b&b.
