Yes, you should stay here! This was our first stay in a B&B. We wanted someplace romantic and relaxing for our Anniversary. I drove all over eastern Missouri checking out places, went to several B&B open houses on a weekend and couldn't find one that had EVERYTHING I was looking for. I saw this one on line and read the reviews, I liked the website. I was nervous making the reservation without "seeing" it. As soon as we drove up, I knew the Inn at Harbour Ridge would be everything we were looking for. And it was!!!! Clean, new, romantic, charming, luxury linens, super soft feather bed. Lots of little detials that make it so special. -Thanks Sue!. We have stayed here twice now, once in the spring and now in the Fall. We love Uncle Bills room. I could spend forever in that porch swing. The outdoor hot tub for 2 is one of the best features. The fireplace, the inside spa tub with a personal shower handle all make it the best room --my opinion only. I know others would like to have a seperate shower, and the other rooms have that. I take a shower every morning getting ready for work, I really liked having to slow down and take a luxurious bath in the morning. We are planning on staying again in the spring. NOW the only hard part will be trying to find another B&B in the U.S. with all the ammenities that The Inn at Harbour Ridge offer and all the extra touches and details at this reasonable rate. If we never find another one it's okay...we could easily just keep coming back to the Inn at Harbour Ridge! View Reviewer Info

Our trip to The Inn At Harbour Ridge was so wonderful, it was so relaxing and peaceful, just what we needed. Ron and Sue were so amazing, it felt as though we had always known them, they are wonderful people. Vic thought Ron was a great guy, they could have sat and talked for hours. Sue should write a cookbook, the food was amazing, the bedding was like sleeping on a cloud, and the surroundings were so peaceful. They even had coupons for the outlet mall, what more could a girl ask for. Our own private deck with a hot tub, coffee outside the door in the am and chocolate on your pillow at night, HEAVEN. My boyfriend and I took our very first vacation together at The Inn at Harbour Ridge, and we could not have been more pleased! We stayed in Uncle Bill's Room; very private (we had our own deck with a porch swing and a jacuzzi), very cozy, and very well decorated. The food was delicious and Sue even made something on the lighter side for me because I had been on a diet. On Sunday we had breakfast in bed, which was a nice treat for a small extra charge. But I was pleasantly surprised by the value of everything. I paid about $380 for the two nights, including a special gift basket and the in-room breakfast, as well as taxes, which I thought was very reasonable. They also had access to a private dock where my boyfriend and I spent hours in the lake on floating chairs and a paddle boat (both owned by the B&B). Sue gave us a wonderful dining reccomendation at The Duck, and though it took about 30 minutes to get there with traffic, the food and the view made it worth the ride! Also, try checking out the outlets because they have some good deals there (especially with the discount card that Sue gives you!), but unless you're a heavy, crazy shopper I would reccomend just stopping by on your way out of the city. I certainly wouldn't want to waste a beautiful day at the mall when you could be enjoying the many activities the lake has to offer. We also had a couples massage on Saturday afternoon at a spa down the road (forgot the name, but Sue would know it) - which I DEFINITELY reccommend! My husband and I were back in the states visiting family for a couple of weeks before returning to our military post in Germany. We wanted to get away by ourselves for a couple of days, so I started looking at hotels in the area. On a promotional website for the Lake of the Ozarks, I came across the Inn at Harbour Ridge. Unsure if my husband would want to stay in a bed and breakfast, and never having stayed in one myself, I hesitantly clicked on the Inn's website. It sounded perfect and once I received the "ok" from my husband, I booked a room. It turned out to be a wonderful decision. The service was amazing, and the owners went out of their way to make sure that my husband and I had a relaxing, romantic, but also private, stay. The rooms were very clean with plenty of space. There was even a private porch with a swing and hot tub. And details like men's ties for the curtains and a remote control for the fireplace even made my husband extremely comfortable. The Inn is in a great location near several great dinner restaurants and outlet malls. One of the best things during our stay was the breakfast each morning. Since breakfast is part of the title of "Bed and Breakfast" I knew that it would be good, however this breakfast was exceptional. If you are looking for a place tailored to a romantic getaway for two, then I am whole-heartedly recommeding the Inn at Harbour Ridge. We are B&B people. We only stay at B&Bs or Inns when traveling for pleasure or business (when possible). The Inn at Harbour Ridge, in Osage Beach, MO, is THE top B&B on our short list of "B&Bs That We MUST Visit Again." The reasons are legion. Here are just some of them.
Breakfast - without a doubt the best, most creatively presented that we've ever experienced. Sue believes in elegance and friendliness that is unsurpassed.
Accommodations - no detail is overlooked, right down to the "Enchanted Hearts" games in each room. The room names are creative and fun ... ask Sue about the "Roll in the Hay." You won't be disappointed!
Innkeepers - Sue and Ron are absolutely terrific, seeming to appear magically when needed. They are friendly, knowledgeable and scrupulously honest. They are a treasure trove of knowledge about The Lake area and we’ve found their advice 100% accurate. Sue has a marvelous memory (and a seemingly endless supply of 3x5 note cards for capturing the little things that her guests prefer.
Location – in the heart of the Lake of the Ozarks resort area, but in a secluded area, the Inn is easily accessible.
When we travel to other parts of the country, we compare other B&Bs to the Inn at Harbour Ridge, which, on a scale of 1-10 scores an 11! Sue sets a high bar … one that no other has been able to top yet!
We’re sure you’ll enjoy your stay at the Inn at Harbour Ridge and return again and again … just as we do. It’s our “Home at The Lake.”

It was important to the bride and groom, who live in Alaska, to have family and friends at their wedding. To do that, we had to have a wedding location convenient for all the guests. Luckily, I found the Inn at Harbour Ridge by searching the internet. Coming from Washington State and unfamiliar with the area, I was immediately impressed with Sue’s willingness to help me locate the additional resources necessary for the wedding (cake, flowers, restaurant, minister etc). All her recommendations were excellent.
The inn’s beautifully decorated garden gazebo and nearby water garden were the perfect backdrop for a small intimate wedding. Sue took great pains to ensure that our wedding requests at the inn were totally carried out (decorations, music, champagne etc). The bride and groom spent the weekend at the Inn (Captain’s Quarter’s) and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, hot tub and breakfast. Thanks to Sue and Ron’s obvious dedication to customer service, the planning and executing of a destination wedding from long distance was a stress-less affair. The Inn at Harbour Ridge is a first class Bed and Breakfast. Thanks so much!
