Plumercrest Bed and Breakfast
Elegantly restored Plumercrest B&B is an ideal base from which to explore all that New England has to offer. It was built right after the Civil War by the grandaughter of Governor William Plumer. Today, the mansion exemplifies a Victorian Italianate architecture whose high ceilings, elaborate moldings and spacious rooms make for a romantic setting in which to relax and revitalize. Guest accomodations include four individually decorated rooms, two with private baths and one with a whirlpool/shower. A hearty breakfast is served daily, featuring home-baked muffins, special entrees and premium coffee and teas. Seacoast New Hampshire is a year round New England destination. Just a short stroll down the meandering country road that flanks the property will lead you to an antique sawmill and a time honored Bicentennial Farm that has been worked by the same family since 1755. Stone walls and 18th century sugar maples border the grounds, and we are surrounded by horse farms. Leaf peeping is spectacular!
