The inn was beautiful, the hospitality was teh best, and it was my favorite of the 5 B&B's we stayed at.

The most difficult challenge with this bed and breakfast was the confirmation of the room. Everything goes through B&B.com and the telephone number on the website directs you back to B&B.com. Once having arrived, it was a different story. The home is well outside of downtown Chicago and that can be a deterrent for some. Personally, it was a nice getaway after finishing my downtown responsibilities. I spent the first 2 nights in the king room and then had to switch to the prince for the final 3 nights. I would recommend the larger rooms. The prince room would be tight for more than 1 person, unless you really want the intimacy. There wasn't much in the way of food. However, there is plenty in the area, that the lack of food is not a big deal. The breakfast items that were left are standard fare that you might just have at home. Very nice proximity to public transportation (bus and train--both very simple to maneuver and relatively convenient). Excellent proximity to Lake Shore Drive and that was fantastic in and of itself. I could go on and on, but I will stop babbling now. I would go back again, just with the larger room.
