The Inn keepers could not have been more helpful. Breakfast and lunch were wonderful...unfortnately we didn't have dinner there. The grounds were ideal for a lazy Sunday morning with the newspaper.

The brick patio between the Gristmill & Millrace House glistens on a rainy summer evening.The Dining Room features fine linens, rustic beams & polished brass. Zagat Survey rated the decor among the best in the State of New Jersey. Food & service received 3 stars from Cody Kendall of the Star Ledger.
New England Lobster Pie is one of the most popular selections on the dinner menu.The Fireside Tavern features casual fare & is open daily for lunch & dinner. Enjoy your favorite cocktail by the warmth of the crackling fire.
The namesake millrace is a silent reminder of a time when its rushing waters powered both the sawmill and the huge wheel standing in the Inn's wine cellar.A centuries old residence for the mill manager is now the Stone Cottage. It contains two oversized guest rooms with an interior winding staircase which can be unlocked to create a delightful family suite.
