Ranney-Crawford House
Close to the center of Putney, Vermont, this elegant 1810 brick Federal manor house is set on a scenic country road surrounded by farms, meadows, and lawns. The house has been lovingly restored, retaining many original features. Spacious bedrooms are bright and airy, with period furnishings. Two bedroooms have fireplaces and large sitting areas. A comfortable sitting room and formal dining room are each warmed on cool mornings by fireplaces. Guests enjoy our patio overlooking a pristine meadow. We are known for our gourmet breakfasts. Guests interested in cycling are in for a special treat. Arnie, your host, is an enthusiastic cyclist and welcomes the chance to go out riding with you or to provide cue sheets for self-guided road or trail rides.
