La Pensione was a nice B&B. I would have preferred more variety at breakfast, hot water in the bathroom sink and a TV in the room. But I did appreciate their wireless internet access. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the pool. The people were very friendly and it was very convenient to have on-site parking plus it was in walking distance of Duvall St.

Historic building with french doors leading out on to second floor balcony. Cafe style tables to enjoy on balcony.Two blocks to Duval St., clean comfortable king bed,private bath,friendly staff,nice pool.Only negative nine rooms with seven parking spaces but free parking on street. Spent 2 days and the place was beautiful...very historic. Room was well decorated and very clean. Breakfast was adequate..a little skimpy on the fruit but waffle was good. Staff was available when needed and friendly. Location was good for traveling to the nearby sites...we walked everywhere. A bit noisy due to location on main highway #1 but a decent compromise for being so near to all of the sites of Key West.

We stayed at this place for one night and loved it. The people manging the place are very friendly. The room is very neat and very well maintained. The breakfast is simply superb and we highly recommend this place for couples or families.

I have stay at this B & B and Loved it. The staff was Great!! The Breakfast was not frozen waffles like another review had stated, I watched the host make them. They went out of there way to make us feel welcome Thanks Again!
