My wife and I decided on a last-minute weekend trip to Cape Cod during our vacation. Neither of us had been to the cape before and we didn't have time to do research, so we ended up stopping by a few B&Bs. As soon as we arrived to the Blueberry we knew we were in the right place. It is in Yarmouth, which is a central location perfect for all kinds of activities around the Cape Cod region; it is near beaches, restaurants, museums, shops, etc. The Inn and the rooms themselves are beautifully furnished, spacious and very comfortable. Jerry and Victoria (the Innkeepers) were very gracious hosts who went out of their way to make sure our stay was incredible. They ensured that we knew where the best places in Cape Code were and the best way to get there. Just when we thought their service had exceeded our expectations, they offered us a 4th night at the place for half the price. The home-cooked breakfasts were delicious--just the right combination of fresh fruit, homemade granola mix with yogurts in addition to a warm main dish. All in all, our stay at the Blueberry Manor was a great and would highly recommend it to anyone.

My partner and I stayed at the Blueberry Manor for three nights and it was superb. We had just got engaged and on learning this, Jerry and Victoria, immediately upgraded us to the Garden Suite, which was extremely kind of them. The Suite was a lovely and having seen the other rooms, it is evident that the proprietors have taken much time and effort to ensure that this B&B is of an extremely high calibre. It was the 'the perfect balance between welcoming comfort and fine antiques and objects d'art'
In terms of the service provided - it was exemplary - both hosts were extremely welcoming and sociable and Gerry made a huge effort to ensure that we knew where the best places in Cape Code were to visit, be it towns, beaches, restaurants or shops. This advice certainly meant that whilst the duration of our stay was limited, we were able to make the most of the Cape and the delights it has to offer.
As for the breakfasts - again these were superb with organic fruit, yogurt and homemade granola everyday followed by a homemade dish such as an amazing Blueberry pie - the delicious food and great recommendations really set us up some excellent days of sightseeing.
Gerry even went out of his way in assisting us with advice for the next stage of our road trip to New England to see the fall leaves, by kindly getting us AAA maps and tour books, suggesting routes and even donating the maps and books to us!
All in all an excellent stay at the Blueberry Manor and somewhere I would recommend to anyone and everyone View Reviewer Info

This B & B was a huge disappointment. On the first morning, I came downstairs about an hour before breakfast (7:30 A.M.) asking if the coffee was ready. I did not think this was a strange request; in fact, I have never stayed at any B & B that did not graciously serve coffee well in advance of the meal. The owner simply said he had not even started the coffee yet! Coffee was not available before breakfast on any of the three mornings.
We also found breakfast itself was inadequate. The owner made a big deal of the fresh fruit cups and home made granola. I could have gotten the same items at McDonalds. There were never any eggs, bacon, ham or meat of any kind. The second day was particularly dismal. The main “entry” was cold, smoked salmon! Although only one guest even picked at a piece and no one else took any, instead of offering an alternative, the owner kept repeating that we could have more salmon. He refused to acknowledge no one wanted cold salmon to begin with.
I must also mention that even though I left a message the day before our arrival requesting a possible early breakfast so we could leave early on our final day to avoid the traffic, my phone call was never returned; in fact, upon our arrival, the owner said breakfast is always served at 8:30. Obviously, he received our message, chose not to return our call and would not extend himself to serve us any earlier. There are many other B and Bs on Cape Cod; I am certain they are much more accommodating.

| Innkeeper Response |
We were truly sorry to hear that a guest of ours did not feel that we offered the utmost in hospitality and we can only offer an apology. We are happy to provide coffee at any hour and even have an on demand single cup coffee maker that guests who request early coffee can keep in their rooms and use any time they wish. Clearly, we did not understand that this guest wished to have early coffee or we would happily have provided it. As to their request for early breakfast we can find no record of the call ahead, however, we can always offer fruit, juice, coffee or tea and homemade granola at an earlier time than our normal 8:30 breakfast. We were especially disappointed that they did not enjoy breakfast which our guests often rave about. Our guestbook's recent entries include “breakfast was inspiring”, “great breakfast”. None the less we understand that not everyone enjoys the same food and we often make special meals on request in addition to our daily hot entrée including eggs, baked ham, bacon and sausage. Regardless, we hope that these folks will accept our apology for the clear miscommunication that occurred during their stay. We love our guests and always hope to exceed their expectations.
