We just spent a very relaxing overnight in a beautiful country setting. The hosts were warm and friendly, offering a clean and comfortable room, kitchen and game room to enjoy. Settling in the hot tub under a star studded sky was wonderful and followed a brisk hike in the woods! Will definitely return here in our travels!

I really didnt know to expect or if Timbermist would provide everything their website portrayed. When we drove through the welcoming entrance gate, we drove into what seemed to be a world set apart on its own. The estate was surperbly clean and maintained. KK welcomed us with a few barks just to let us know she was there. Steve & Karen greeted us as if we were long time friends, opening their house, we felt as long time friends. Our room (Blue Heron) was beautifully decorated and outstandingly clean. Delicious apples were in our room and the kitchen also had fruit and snacks for our enjoyment. Our 1st item of our unscheduled schedule was to see if the ponds indeed would provide a fishing experience I was expecting. It didnt take long before I enjoyed some exciting fishing. My wife was relaxing in the sun on a blanket taking pictures of my catches. I missed a dozen hard hits on my line, but I enjoyed every moment. My wife found several books in the library in the rec room that satisfied her leisure time. Timbermist is a breath taking beautiful estate where we enjoyed nature to its fullest. Steve provided an overwhelming breakfast fit for royalty and thats how we were treated. Birds, geese, pheasant, windchimes all embraced the serenity of Timbermist. To Steve & Karen, I thank you welcoming us into their home and making our 1st B&B more than what we expected. Im looking forward to returning to Timbermist and we will. My friend and family will here about Timbermist for a long to to come and I will recommend Timbermist to them to experience what we did. Thank you again Steve, Karen, & KK (the lab).

As I travel thru PA, coming home is always best..unless I'm staying at Timbermist. Stumbling onto this cozy, tastefully decorated, warm, inviting home of Karen & Steve was one of the best things that could have have happened for my husband and I. Tucked away from the world, relaxing is what Timbermist is all about! Everything about Timbermist is exactly what we were looking for in a "Home away from Home". From the outdoor sauna & swimming pool to the indoor recreataion room, complete with pool table, there are a variety of activities to occupy your time. If relaxing is your thing, then you can take a leisurely walk on one of their many trails through the 100 acre wooded estate or simply sit by one of the 3 ponds to take in the wildlife experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits and are currently planning our third visit this year.
