My husband and I spent 3 nights at this B&B and the experience was wonderful. The accommodations were all that the web site promised and more. The breakfasts were gourmet and the Inn keeper, Steve, made us feel like family. The nightly wine with snacks were generous, so much so that we did not eat out the first night. The location allowed us to enjoy the ocean, golf and the City of Pacific Grove: all within walking distance. We were treated so nicely that we cannot wait to return to this site.

We had not really planned our trip to Monterey, but found this B&B when driving around looking for a place to stay one night. The welcome was delightful (wine and appetizers), our room very good for the midweek-rate of 99 $ and the breakfast was indeed gourmet-quality. I would advise any traveller to stay here, great value and personal touch that made the stay delightful. B. (the Netherlands)

Had never stayed at a B&B and wanted to try it. We were so glad we did. This was my third trip to the area and we wanted a more relaxed setting to stay in. Steve could not have been more gracious and accommodating. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing!!!!! Would highly recommend this Inn. We were not usually there in the evening since we were visiting with our son in the AF. But Steve made sure there were wonderful foods and wine for the evening social. If we ever get to the area again we will definitely make reservations to stay here.

Oh my gosh! I was PLEASANTLY surprised. I have stayed at a lot of nice places before and was very leery about staying at a B&B, but I must tell you that if I am in Monterey again, I will be staying there again. The room was great, Megan and Gary were like my own personal chef, very nice people. We met a lot of other couples during the wine social from 5-7 and during breakfast. I would definatly recommend this place, it is close to everything walking or driving.I really enjoyed the stay! My husband was pleased as well.

First time experience at a Bed and Breakfast and highly recommend this Inn. Innkeepers were really friendly and helpful, and made delicious breakfast. Our room was clean and bed was really comfortable. The Inn is conveniently located to various attractions - walking distance to downtown Pacific Grove, the beach, and a very short drive to the aquarium/Cannery Row.

We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. Innkeeps were wonderful - sweet and welcoming. Room was nicely appointed and we had a private garden which was fantastic for the price we paid. Super convenient to downtown pacific grove and Monterey points (cannery, Aqauarium, etc). Would definitely stay again.

This place demontrates why you stay at a B & B! The inn-keepers were friendly and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere to share with the other guests. The hour'dourves and wine in the evening were a great chance to meet the other guests from around the world. Dianna went out of her way to leave a requested bottle of wine in our room (great selection!) The cottage was extreemly clean and gave us the "retreat" feeling we were looking for. Highly recomend for a romantic getaway!

We only had two nights at the Inn, but it was so beautiful. It is so hard when you are booking online to know what you will see when you get there. The landscaping and outside are beautiful. The hosts are wonderful. We only had one breakfast there, and it was so delicious!! We had one of the smaller rooms, but you didn't feel that way at all. The hosts make you feel very welcome and really at home. We didn't spend much time at the Inn as we had never been to the area and had so much to see. It will definitely be on our itinerary the next time we go to that area. Oh, and the bed was really comfortable too!!

The property is in a great location - easy walk to the beach or downtown PG. The innkeepers (Charlie and Dianna) went above and beyond - they were easily accessible for questions, knew all the guests by name, and added a supremely personal- but not intrusive- touch to our stay. I have stayed in many B and B's in and around Pacific Grove, and this one - by far- is my favorite. The breakfasts alone (by chef Charlie) were enough to make me want to come back again and again. Supurb!

It was my first experience at a B&B and it was an experience I'll always remember. Dianna and Charlie made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Charlie's quite the cook - our breakfasts were delicious and were a wonderful way to start our day. We'd definitely stay at Seventeen Mile Drive again and we would recommend it highly.

This was a last minute getaway for our anniversary. This property exceeded my expectations even though I had never stayed at a b&b before. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was so inviting. Not to mention I used a bedandbreakfast.com gift certificate with no problem. Thanks again Dianna & Charlie.

I was looking for the perfect B&B for a mini-vacation with my mother and I found it. My mother uses a walker, so I booked a room that I had seen on the Internet with easy access and two beds. When we arrived, I was informed that the people who had been staying in that room had extended their stay and it was not available. Before I had a chance to register my disappointment, I was told we were being upgraded at the same price. We were given a charming cottage with a gas fireplace that met our needs perfectly. Not only did we enjoy our cottage, we received the best complimentary breakfast ever at a B&B! Usually it’s coffee and a sweet roll. Imagine my surprise when, after loading up on fruit, cereal, yogurt and juice, I was asked if I would like the eggs, potatoes and sausage. There was also toast and muffins by the toaster with an assortment of jams and jellies. Tea and coffee was available 24/7 as were cookies and brownies. Wine with crackers, cheese and dips is served in the afternoon as well. And did I mention chocolate? The attention of innkeepers Charlie and Diana was even better than the food. They obviously love what they are doing and are committed to making a fine inn even better. While they were very kind and attentive to my mother, this place is not just for seniors. It’s a very romantic getaway for couples. I think the greatest compliment to Charlie and Diana came from my mother as we were leaving. After asking if we could visit again sometime she said, “I don’t feel like I’m leaving an institution, I feel like I’m leaving a home.”
