My husband and I stopped at the Terra Nova on our way home to DC from Chicago. We knew nothing about the inn as we booked strickly from the website. We were very happy with the condition and cleanliness of the house and our room. The innkeepers were welcoming and they have an absolutely adorable cat Jada who is quite a charmer. The breakfast and coffee were delicious and we shared our table with a very nice couple from Ontario. All in all, we would not hesitate to go back to the inn if the situation presented itself.

This is the best Grove City has...It is an easy walk to the campus, clean, refreshing and good, carefully prepared food.
Perfect spot for a romantic fall weekend getaway! Barry and Sandy run a delightful bed and breakfast. We stayed in the English Rose room, which was beautifully decorated and had a generously sized bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful the next morning. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly...would definitely return and recommend to friends!

While my daughter spent the night at Grove City college, I spent the night at Terra Nova House. What a treat--and a wonderful, peaceful way to end a hectic week! I especially enjoyed staying in the Golfers' Hideaway on the third floor under the eaves. Sandy and Barry were friendly and hospitable, and the cinnamon French toast for breakfast was a delicious finishing touch!

We had stayed here before and came back. The Millers were gracious and helpful as always. The rooms and lobby area were beautifully appointed, cozy and clean. We chose the only room with a kingsized bed and it was warm and cozy. Unfortunately, the room didn't have a closet. The bathroom used to be the closet and it was difficult to close the door and also to sit comfortably on the toilet. The value overall exceeded my expectations.

We had lived in Grove City for twenty two years , and where back to visit a few close friends. Our stay at the BB was great. The Inn Keepers were so nice and made us feel at home. I hope to stay there again in the coming years
Our last night on the road after a week of travelling was in Grove City. On a whim we chose Terra Nova over a hotel, and are glad we did. Love the big old house and gardens, the friendly pets greeting us in the lobby and the welcoming innkeepers who made us feel very much at home. Thanks Sandy and Barry!
Our room was lovely and pristine and the breakfast was delicious. Sandy and Barry are very cordial hosts and we enjoyed our stay immensely.
The house had very nice flower gardens outside. The fying of the Canadian flag for us was a nice touch. The house is very large and interesting. The room was exceptionally nice, large and comfortable. We stayed in the North Atlantic room. But the most important part of our stay was Barry & Sandy. They are extremely hospitable and make you feel like a family member. They are eager to help in any way including what to do and were to eat. They made the difference between a nice stay and an outstanding stay. I would also be remiss if I forgot to mention the outstanding breakfast we had both days.
We have stayed at numerous B&B's, and this was one of the nicest. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Barry and Sandy did everything to make our stay wonderful. This is a great place to stay when shopping at the outlets!
Much nicer than a chain hotel. Wonderful to talk with other guests at breakfast. Lots of "extras" like coffee available before breakfast, well furnished rooms, bathroom was great. Would stay again!!

The golfers hideaway was a nice room on the third floor. The room was not hot in July and the private bathroom was very clean. The fruit and pancake breakfast was excellent and the hosts were exceptionally friendly. We will stay there again in the future.
Terra Nova House was our first experience with a Bed & Breakfast. It was one of the most pleasurable weekends we have had in a long time. Barry & Sandy were wonderful, friendly and very accommodating which made us feel at home.
We had an incredible stay at Terra Nova! Barry and Sandy were amazing hosts, the fact that they are onsite with their pets (Molly was great, Jada was even better) made the whole experience like spending the weekend with close family. Would highly recommend TNH to anyone visiting the west PA area. As a military member-Barry was extremely inviting and very fun to swap stories with. We actually stayed an extra night because we liked it so much!

We've been to several B & B's and Barry and Sandy are among the most gracious and hospitable hosts we've ever encountered. The breakfast really set it apart from the others - fresh baked and awesome! Barry was even happy to share some of the culinary secrets.

Two-night stay. Excellent location and beautiful property. Didn't have to pay for the extra company - Jada, the owners' cat who spent all weekend with us in our room. A very special treat for cat-lovers away from their own.
We booked all 5 guest rooms for the weekend of our daughter's wedding in Grove City. Sandy and Barry could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Nothing ever seems to go exactly as planned where weddings are involved - from torrential rain to blue skies in a matter of hours - but our desire to give our daughter a beautiful memory of where she stayed the days before her wedding, 2400 miles from home, was met perfectly. All her brothers could be there with her, as well as Mom and Dad and her godfather - priceless. (The pictures don't do the rooms justice!)
We spent two delightful days at Terra Nova. Barry and Sandy were excellent hosts. Our plane to Pittsburgh was delayed so we arrived late, but Barry and Sandy stayed up to greet us. Breakfasts were outstanding. Sandy gave us tips on touring the local Amish countryside Barry was a great conversationalist. When we are in the area again, we will definitely stay at Terra Nova!
The rooms were great and the enjoyment of breakfast was only exceeded by the conversation with Barry and Sandy. This is the place to stay if you are visiting Grove City College or the outlets. Barry and Sandy were able to accommodate a last-minute change in our reservation as well as modify their breakfast schedule so we could get to a meeting on time. Stay once and Terra Nova House will be your home away from home.

Thanks for providing the resources for a most enjoyable 2-night stay, a really nice, totally comfortable bed and good conversation to boot. The only change I would make on my next stay at Terra Nova House would be to take the suite in order to get a bit more space in the bathroom. Otherwise, all was great and both of you (Sandy and Barry, TNH's hands-on Innkeepers) went out of their way to provide both all the amenities -- and a very tasty breakfast to start the day. This B&B is definitely the best rooming value in Mercer County. TNH is much better than the hassle and traffic/through the wall noise of the low-budget, cookie cutter, commercial hotels by the Prime Outlets. The benefits are easily worth the ten minute drive!
Room and bath were tasteful and very clean. Breakfasts were tasty (and even nutritious). Hosts were friendly, helpful, and professional.
Terra Nova House Bed and Breakfast is a 100+ year old Victorian that is a "stand out" amongst others. Comfortable, cozy and quiet. We enjoyed our hearty, made from scratch breakfast served by our amiable hosts. While their website says it all, seeing the furnishings in each room of this inn is a must. After staying at Terra Nova House Bed and Breakfast, you too will add it to your "Best in Category".
My girlfriend and I stayed in 4/09 and were taken with the charm of the house. Barry and Sandy were wonderful hosts, very informative on the local attractions and where to eat. Would recommend a weekend stay to anyone. And Barry serves a mean breakfast: definitely not your average meal!!
We had a lovely summer preview on our April 24th visit, with weather more like July. The room we were in was immaculate, and based on my husband's allergies' not acting up, devoid of all cat hair, even though a lovely persian cat resides at TNH. Barry and Sandy were most considerate of our needs, even deciding on the "blueberry surprise" breakfast based on our diet request. The dining room allowed for friendly conversations in a "homey" atmosphere. We had a wonderful time there!

My husband and I stayed at the Terra Nova House while our son visited Grove City College. We stayed in the Golfers Retreat which is tucked away on the third floor. Very quiet. Great location as the B & B is very close to the college. Barry and Sandy were very helpful with dinner plans and local attractions. This is the place to stay while in Grove City.
We had a great stay at the Terra Nova house. The room we selected was the North Atlantic Room. It had a log burning fireplace (Log provided), a huge bathroom, a couch, a sitting place, and great decor. The TNH is located in by a great outlet mall, great dining selections, and a cool little college town. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to specifications. We definately recommend this B&B
We stayed at the Terra Nova House the night of January 30th for a mid winter getaway. Friends of ours had given us a gift certificate for the holidays. I can't say enough about how welcoming and friendly Sandy and Barry were. The North Atlantic Room was so pleasant and clean. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The highlight for me was the visit by Jada the cat in the evening to make sure we were tucked in. She is quite the little charmer! Breakfast was home cooked and tasty. My wife and I had the occasion to stay at the Terra Nova House on the 29th and 30th of January, 2009. We were very happy with our stay, and will make sure that we again make reservations for our next trip. Barry & Sandy worked diligently to ensure that we enjoyed our stay (despite 7 degree temps!). The two breakfasts that they prepared for us were excellent (and, according to my wife, so was the coffee!). The room we stayed in was lovely, and quite clean. Brandi and I, unfortunately, chose a weekend when the biggest snow storm arrived for the winter and Barry / Sandy made sure to make us very welcome and assisted in securing restaurant reservations...almost every place was closed. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely make our back to visit soon!
My mother and I stayed at Terra Nova House on December 27, 2009. It was our first bed and breakfast experience. Although we only stayed one night, eveything about our stay was perfect. The house was beautiful, comfortable and cozy. We will be returning next year for sure!

We spent the most special night of our lives there on November 30, 2007, as we got engaged right in the Carribean room! Barry and Sandy were so excited for us - they took our first picture as an engaged couple. We loved it so much we returned last weekend to relive the experience a year after our engagement. Barry and Sandy were thrilled to have us back and we felt right at home. We hope to return again and again.
We arrived to the BB about 3:30pm and went to Pittsburgh for dinner and show, came back around 11pm and had a great nights sleep--and a wonderful breakfast in the morning!

We've stayed here as often as we could in our child's three years of college, and have never been disappointed. Barry and Sandy are warm, personable and helpful hosts, and the atmosphere is very "family-like" as we enjoy breakfast together. The helpers (usually college students) are very friendly too. The rooms are quiet, delightfully decorated and cozy (not very large, but comfortable), and prices are quite reasonable.

Very friendly and helpful. This was my first B&B experience in America. I have always stayed in hotels before now. I enjoyed the relaxing, delicious breakfast. They were very helpful when I had reserved one night instead of two and helped me find another very nice B&B for my 2nd night in the area.
My son and I stayed at Terra Nova House so my son could complete his admissions interview at Grove City College. We stayed in the newly renovated Golfer's Hideaway, which was fun even though I'm not a golfer. We were greeted upon arrival by Barry and Sandy. They showed us around and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was great. The other guests were friendly. My son was well rested for his interview. If he gets in to Grove City College, we will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, and from the time we booked our stay we knew we were dealing with a top-notch inn! The Millers are absolutely delightful - we talked for many hours through the course of the weekend. They truly make you feel at home. We stayed in two different rooms (our choice), and both were extremely clean, comfortable and inviting. The breakfasts were by far incredible! Barry is an excellent chef and Sandy is a marvelous host! And of course, Molly and Jada (their Golden Retreiver and adorable kitty) were delights as well! Overall, this place is a wonderful place to stay. The prices are reasonable, and the service above all expectation! Thanks, Barry and Sandy!

This was the perfect location (halfway between our homes) for my college roommate and I to rendezvous. We talked and giggled as if the 35 years since we met were the blink of an eye. The warm welcome, luxurious room and delicious breakfast were icing on the cake.

Terra Nova House is a charming and delightful B&B! The house is a beautiful Victorian home hidden away in the little college town of Grove City, PA. It is well-kept, clean and the Innkeeper's, Barry and Sandy Miller extend perfect hospitality. I have stayed in many B&B's and this home away from home is outstanding in every way!
We made reservations based on the internet website and an ad in the Grove CIty Outlet Mall paper. We were very pleased with our room, and the upkeep and cleanliness of the home. Barry and Sandy are gracious and we felt welcome. A good value for the price and a nice breakfast. The home is for sale and they are looking for someone to take over the bed and breakfast. This place seems to need nothing and is in wonderful condition. In this community there seems to be almost no competition. We really enjoyed Volant, Pennsyvania, a small community with shops, restaurants, a winery, and the old Mill which is being restored. My husband and I spent the most enjoyable night at Terra Nova House on 9/25/08. This was our first time in a bed and breakfast and could not have been more pleased. We were warmly greeted by Sandy upon our arrival and was given a tour of her beautiful home. We felt very comfortable during our overnight stay. The breakfast that was served to us by Sandy on 9/26/08 was excellant. And we felt right at home because of her furry critters that were very well behaved.

I was thrilled when I found out that a room was available at the last minute, due to travel complications. It was like being welcomed home by old friends. The Carribean room was comfortable and relaxing. Next time I think I will spend a little extra for the North Atlantic Suite though-wow!
Decided to surprise my wife with a last minute getaway. Called on Fri and was able to get the best room in the house for Sat!! Barry and Sandy could not have been any more accomodating. This place is amazing and the Miller's lives "define hospitality. We stayed in the North Atlantic mini suite. Pristine and cozy immaculate. Have recommended to many friends and will return.
A perfect oasis in September.. weather was beautiful, the Terra Nova House is an experience not to be missed. Barry & Sandy are gracious hosts and the rooms are beautiful and beyond clean and comfortable. The Atlantic Mini-Suite is our favourite with a lighthouse theme and is complimented by a beautiful bathroom. Of course, Molly & Jada welcomed us upon arrival as well.

My daughter and I stayed at the Terra Nova House on August 18 for her Sweet 16th birthday. The house is beautiful, the owners are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the bed was very comfortable!!! We had a great time in Grove City thanks to the Miller's information and advice on the Grove City and Mercer areas. We would definately stay again, and hopefully next time the stay will be a longer one.

We loved the inn even as we drove up and were warmly greeted by Barry, Sandy and their very friendly and welcoming dog, Molly. Our hosts gave us a short tour and showed us to our comfortable and relaxing room. They were also very helpful about suggesting places for dinner. As we returned from dinner we were greeted by their adorable cat, Jada, who visited with us in our room. A most enjoyable time away.
Barry and Sandy are friendly, helpful and provide a quiet, clean and welcoming atmosphere with their charming and well kept home. Pets Jada and Molly were a nice touch and very gentle. The supply of shampoo and conditioner was greatly appreciated as we'd forgotten ours. Downtown is a short drive and the move theatre only charges $5 for a ticket! We visited mid-week in mid-July. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room which was clean, spacious, and pleasingly decorated. Sandy was helpful with respect to area activities and suggested an excellent place for dinner. Coffee and a newspaper were available at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. We enjoyed talkng witrh Barry and Sandy at breakfast and will add Terra Nova House to our "return visit" list.
Once again, we had a wonderful visit at your delightful B & B. We haven't been there for over a year, but it was like coming home again. We will be back!
Thank you Miller family. The stay in the Golfer's Paradise felt like staying at a friend's house, but with very comfortable bed and my own bathroom :) The breakfast's were delicious, the young lady who served breakfast was delightful, and having coffee ready for my early checkout helped me navigate the western PA roads in the dark. It's a beautiful old house and an experience worth repeating
Room was clean but small. Sink is in the bedroom because the bath is too small to accomodate it. Bed was comfortable and window air conditioner kept the room a good temp in July. Innkeepers were friendly and accomodating.
This was our 2nd visit to Terra Nova House and for good reason. Our accommodation was outstanding as was expected but we were reminded again of the Innkeepers, Sandy and Barry- a great mix of quiet presence as well as great sincere stories. I am not at all surprised by Barry and Sandy's Inn's distinquished honour of being of the top 10 Top B & B's-but pleasantly pleased for them. The proximity to Grove City Outlets is a real bonus. We were on our way for a short stay in Erie and Northeast, Pa, from our home in south Florida, and we had the pleasure of meeting Barry & Sandy. We stayed at TNH for our 15th wedding anniversary get-away. Sandy and Barry are delightful! We enjoyed chatting with them. Jada and Molly are so sweet! The rooms are beautiful and clean. The grounds are lovely. They made a delicious low-cholesterol breakfast for us. We'll certainly stay again and recommend TNH to everyone we know!

After a wonderful nights sleep in the most comfortable bed I have slept in and a nice breakfast, it was the conversation with Barry and Sandy that makes the stay at Terra Nova standout in my mind. They provided information about the area that made our visit to the Grove City area very special. They listened to the purpose of our visit and guided us to interests that made our visit a possible life changing visit. We are very thankful for their time, knowledge and willingness to share.

The Terra Nova House is a wonderful place to stay. They really make you feel right at home. I was so comfortable staying there I almost hated to leave. The owners are friendly and helpful, and always ready to offer a cup of tea no matter what time it is. My favorite part was getting up early and having a cup of tea in the kitchen with them while breakfast was being prepared. I never felt as if I was intruding. They welcomed me right in with a smile.
I needed a place to stay on short notice after hearing about the death of a loved one to attend services. I had remembered passing by and looking at the Bed and Breakfast sign on an eariler visit to the area and chanced a call hoping for a vacancy. My stay was beyound my expectations,very comfortable. My stay during a difficult time made me looking forward to another visit on a happier note. The service was exceptional. Thank You!

This was a first time experience at a B&B for me and my husband and we had a wonderful time. We didn't know what to expect, but we felt at home and enjoyed the company of both Barry and Sandy. Barry even put out a Canadian Flag on our behalf which I was very honoured by; the food was outstanding! Barry and Sandy are great hosts, you can tell they love what they do and take pride in their business. If we make another trip to Grove City we will surely make another reservation at the Terra Nova house. For those going Pennsylvania for shopping be sure to take advantage of their "Shopping Spree" package!!!
All B&B's should model their service and hospitality after the Terra Nova House. From the lovely rooms, to the great breakfasts, to the friendliness of Barry and Sandy (not to mention Molly and Jada), this is the way it should be. Do yourself a favor and go there...you'll be glad you did.
There is no way you cannot feel at home at Terra Nova. From the outstanding breakfast to the spacious rooms, Terra Nova is a must stay. You will be welcomed not only by Barry and Sandy, but also by Jada and Molly, the official Innkeepers in our opinion. If you are anywhere within the Grove City area you would foolish not to make a stop here.

It was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. We enjoyed the stay. The rooms was very comfortable and clean. Our Hosts were very friendly and helpful to get us around the town for our adventures. We will definitely go back there to stay.

Our three adult children purchased the "Ultimate Romance" Package for us as a Christmas gift. We smelled the roses, ate the chocolate, sipped the wine, sat by the fire and enjoyed the gourmet candle lit breakfast in our room the next morning. What a fabulous gift!!!

The Terra Nova House is a great place to stay, and convenient, since it is so close to Grove City College where our daughter is attending. The second you walk in, you feel at home! Every room is beautiful and clean, and the breakfast is extraordinary!
My Husband and I stayed at the Terra Nova House this past weekend, and we had a wonderful time. Barry & Sandy are so nice and welcoming, and we enjoyed visiting with them. We stayed in the British Empire, which was very spacious and comfortable. The fresh coffee brewed right outside of our room in the morning, and was so good! Barry & Sandy treated us to a delicious breakfast in the morning, where we also met Molly and THE Princess, Jada. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
THE TERRA NOVA HOUSE IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL BNB, LOVED BARRY & SANDY THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY COUPLE. JADA WAS ABSOULTELY ADORABLE, SHE CAME TO VISIT US QUITE A FEW TIMES. WE STAYED IN THE NORTH ATLANTIC SUITE AND IT WAS VERY SPACIOUS AND VERY CLEAN. TERRA NOVA HOUSE WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

We had the first snowfall of the year while we were staying at the B&B. In the morning, we heard scratching and realized that the innkeeper was not only shoveling the walks, but also scraping each car window clean.

We had a great time at the Terra Nova House. It was the perfect way to relax without kids so my wife could get a little shopping done. Barry and Sandy were extremely friendly and gracious and the B&B is beautiful. Grove City is also a charming little town. I look forward to a return visit.
