Great accommodations!! Nice, quiet neighborhood! Sue and Jim were terrific host and hostess. Our bed in the Heavenly Room was so comfortable, we could have slept all day!! Since we had to leave at 9am for a business meeting, Sue provided a 'quick' breakfast for us of muffins, fruit and juice!! Just the ticket!! Next time we're in McKinney, we will definitely stay at the Virginia Rose Inn again!!

We stayed at the Virginia Rose on our wedding night in the Romance room. Sue and Jim took extra special care of us. They left us a sweet card, and they even brought us breakfast in bed the next morning. The room was very well kept and unique. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The hosts of the Virginia Rose Inn are experts in making every guest feel at home in their beautiful B&B. They attend to every detail in the rooms and at breakfast, where they serve a varied menu that would fully satisfy any guest. Our room is elegant and comfortable, and we have spent a lot of time on the spacious back porch, which is a perfect place to eat breakfast and sit and read, or just look at the pretty backyard. We love the Virginia Rose Inn, and it's a must for anyone staying in this part of Texas.

I loved my stay at The Virginia Rose Inn in McKinney Texas. The Inn has quaintness but all is in good working order. This is a one-of-a-kind establishment. I thoroughly relished walking on hardwood floors and relaxing on the extra wide porch. The street noise, which was minimal, did not bother me. I was in the suite closest to Virginia Avenue, so mention this when making your reservation if it is a concern of yours. There is even a separate building far in the back. Breakfast was fantastic. The fresh berries were marvelous. I felt I could always get attention for anything that might come up, but did not ever feel smothered either. Thoroughly enjoyable. I may well stay here again sometime.

Sue and Jim are wonderful, thoughtful innkeepers. My husband and I stayed over Valentine's Day weekend and it was even better than we had expected. The unattached room, Romance, was an adorable, cozy place to stay. The decor is flawlessly appealing. The bathroom was gorgeous and the claw-foot tub was a real treat. I was able to peak into the other rooms in the house and they were just as lovely as ours. Breakfast was delicious--Sue made a ham and cheese souffle that was to die for. Over breakfast we talked with Sue and Jim. You can tell what a wonderful marriage they have and how much they love what they're doing. It was very refreshing. On Valentine's night Sue and Jim brought us fondue with fruit, marshmallows and cake. It was something we would have never thought to do, but it added so much to our stay. That afternoon we had massages in our room from SpaEsoteric, a local spa, and the fondue finished off a great day. The Virginia Rose Inn is the perfect bed and breakfast for a quiet weekend away. Sue and Jim will take great care of you! My husband and I can't wait to go back!

I have stayed twice at this Inn and have placed relatives here. We have all been very pleased with our stay. I cannot say enough about the attention to detail maintained at this B&B. Sue, the Inn Keeper was wonderful at meeting our every need. The BEDS are the most comfortable nights sleep I have ever had at a B&B. The mattresses are top quality, super Luxury. I will return again and again!

I stayed at the VRI for a night of quiet and solitude, with a brief break to go eat on the town square. I thoroughly enjoyed my room, the atmosphere, the unexpected little snacks Sue left out, and the awesome breakfast. She's a great hostess and is definitely doing what she was called to do, with excellence!

I stayed in the Tranquility suite for the weekend. This is such a beautiful Inn! It has the charm of an old house with the modern conveniences of today. The room was so cozy it felt just like home. I love the antique claw foot tubs. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up! But I am glad I did because breakfast was delicious! It was a kind of french toast with a yummy struesel topping mmm. The Innkeeper is the sweetest lady; you will be glad you came to stay.

What a lovely surprise in McKinney, Texas! The vintage fresh theme of this B&B was exciting. To be in this wonderful old home, with it's beautiful wood floors and molding, and to have newly refurbished bathrooms and furniture was a real treat. Sue's hospitality is beyond gracious, she truly loves her guests! Breakfast in the grand dining room with that fabulous chandelier was so enchanting. Great cuisine as well! Not to mention, being a couple of blocks from downtown McKinney for restaurants and shopping. This is my personal "get away", I'm going to try every "suite"! Thanks, Sue for a wonderful place to come and be pampered.
