Cape Arundel Inn
KENNEBUNKPORT'S ONLY OCEANFRONT INN!
Cape Arundel Inn was built as a stately summer cottage in 1895 on famed Ocean Avenue in Kennebunkport, Maine. We are a unique property, operating in a neighborhood of grand and stately summer mansions, sitting high on a knoll we are afforded breathtaking views of the sea and crashing surf. Our views stretch from the Goat Island lighthouse to the shoreline of Wells, Ogunquit and York. Off to one side sits Walkers Point and beyond it Cape Porpoise. Leave our front door to walk, jog, and bike along Ocean Avenue to Colony Beach, Spouting Rock and Blowing Cave. Find a niche in the rocks and burrow in with a book. Smell the sea, feel the breeze, relax, contemplate, renew, find inspiration. In the morning lobster boats ply their trade in our front yard. Throughout the day, schooners cross before us on their scenic tours. Off on the far horizon tankers ply their route between Boston and Portland. Pleasure craft of every description, often including "Fidelity", the power boat of President Bush, "The First Fisherman", fill the sea only steps away from our front porch.
