Instead of Monday Morning Blues, colors --from soft to brilliant--now filter through countless memories of this past weekend at the OUTPOST. Thank you, Lenore, for your gracious gestures and all your inspirational creations which designed and created those visual feasts for your guests. I'm reminded of the line from a R. Browning poem: "She liked what she saw and her eyes went everywhere..." every momentary 'scenic' pause delivered a visual feast which on this Monday-morning-after stirs me to plan my next visit. Ah, what subtleties, what precious memories, what glorious dreams of 'next time.' Thank you and your 'team' Lenore. My group had such a grand time!

I travel extensively and will return to The Outpost as much as possible. I had a great time on both a girlfriend retreat and with my extended family. The setting was so peaceful and the breakfast was out of this world. Lenore was a delightful hostess and Danny went out of his way to provide some little extras that we asked for. I look forward to going back by myself for some down time with my book, my camera, and a bottle of wine.

My husband and I came for a weekend away from home/kids to celebrate his 40th. We were very impressed with the cabin we stayed in, and a wonderful bed and large whirlpool tub. very nice! Breakfasts were incredibly delicious! Our best meal of the day by far! We would definitely come back!

The Outpost truly is a Texas treasure. Lenore has created a distinctly Texas style lodging in a beautifully remote location in central Texas. Each lodging is unique and the grounds are beautiful - natural to central Texas. The breakfast was delicious for our one night stay and others there ranted about the previous french toast breakfast.

My friends and I spent the night in the Shelby house. Lenore the owner was kind enough to give us a tour of the other cabins. Each one of the cabins was so "tastefully" decorated with Texas Chic. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back.

We have been going to the Outpost at Cedar Creek with a group of friends at least once a year for several years now. We really enjoyed the Prairie Cottage and the others prefer the main house or one of the other cabins. Last year we saw their recently rennovated Lincecum Log Cabin and plan to stay in it next time. Wonderful location, great hosts, and incredibly relaxing.
