Maison D' Memoire is our new "go to" place for relaxation and romance. The sunset over the lake is breathtaking. Whether sitting in the swing, fishing, watching the sunset or relaxing in the jacuzzi, you will find no better place to do it than at Maison D' Memoire. We stayed in one of the cottages at Maison D'Memoire in July of 08. These cottages are wonderful, and the breakfasts are to die for! Serene, private, and very romantic, these restored 100 + year old homes are located close enough to the interstate to make site seeing trips a breeze as well as to partake from any of the fine dining establishments in the area. The property is beautiful with a lake full of fish. Lynn and Ken have thought of every thing to make your stay the most memorable one ever! You won't be disappointed!

The Autumn Cottage was our home for 4 days as we explored Lafayette, New Iberia, Lake Fausse Pointe SP, Avery Island, & Franklin. Each morning we had a hearty breakfast delivered to our door. The nicely decorated cottage welcomed us home each evening to a clean, very private & quiet rural setting. This 1880's cottage contains all the modern conveniences. We give this cottage " 5 Stars".

My fiance had finished his Phd and I wanted to give him some nice time together to relax. We stayed at the Autum cottage and were pleased with the beauty of the decoration and details, comfort and privacy that we enjoyed of. The fact that it is a full cottage with everything that you need as opposed to a hotel room makes it more comfy and dear to me. The innkeeper is adorable and the webpage has a wonderful interface, user-friendly to book your cottage in a few clicks. They also offer different packages for you to purchase a romantic game or dinner. I highly reccomend it.
