Monteagle Inn is a thirteen-suite Bed and Breakfast and Retreat Center situated atop the beautiful and bountiful Cumberland Plateau in Monteagle, TN. We utilize our extensive herb & vegetable gardens to create our acclaimed "mountain gourmet" breakfast which satisfies the most discriminating taste and has earned high praise from our guests. The staff was the most wonderful I've ever encountered - they deserve a raise! The room was nice though somewhat too small, and the breakfast was sparse for the money. Overall, however, it was a nice experience.

Quite simply our stay was too short... we'll be back! Jim was a great host and prepared a superb breakfast. The Inn is beautiful and well appointed, including a wine cellar that we'll take advantage of next time.

From the moment we walked in the door, we felt right at home. The decor is fabulous and welcoming, the hosts are amazing in their knowledege of the area and encouraging us to enjoy ourselves. Best B&B breakfast ever. What a wine list-wow!

The gazebo area is the perfect place escape from the busy world.The Inn is the perfect place to host business retreats, family reunions, weddings or special occasion events.
The Inn offers 13 guest rooms featuring private baths, telephone, climate control, wireless internet, luxurious bed and bath linens and so much more.The chef prepares breakfast each morning hot to serve, along with seasonal fruit and fresh baked breads.
Vegetables and herbs are harvested each day and used in preparing the Inn's "mountain gourmet" breakfast served daily.The Wine Cellar offers its guests over 300 selections. You can find the wine listings in the guestrooms to better help you make the selection.
Hammocks encourage the guests to catch that much needed nap in total comfort.The Bridal Veil Falls suite is one of the most popular rooms because of its oversized room, refinished hardwood flooring and lounging areas.
