Very comfortable place to stay while visiting family in Shelborne! Geoff and Maureen made sure we have every comfort, from the tea kettle and cookies, to our cozy rooms amidst Vermont's winter snows. Great breakfasts, too!

We got together with family for the holidays at the Heart of the Village and were very pleased by our choice- from the welcoming innkeepers, to the superb breakfast and convenient location.

The rooms were great, the Inn is in a terrific location within walking distance of antique stores, restaurants and a great general store. We stayed there for a weekend last year as well. There are new owners now, Maureen and Geoff (originally from NJ) and they were perfect hosts. We are planning a trip this winter to the area for skiing and we go out of our way to stay here.
