Lakeshore Inn

The Lakeshore Inn, located just 10 minutes from downtown Rockland, offers guests an incredibly scenic getaway. The Inn, overlooking Lake Chickawaukie, is reported to be one of Rockland's first homes, having been built in 1767. Here you'll find four well-appointed guest rooms, each with a queen bed, private bath, telephone, data port, air conditioner (in season), comfy robes, and hairdryers. Three rooms feature lake views, two access a rooftop deck for a more spectacular view.

It feels like home is the best way to describe it. We stayed while attending my mom's funeral. They opened their arms and home to us when we were in need of comfort. It was true hospitality- meeting our needs. read more

lake shore is easily accessible to both great places. food was way superior to your average b&b. Jim and Susan are great folks
