The Beach House an exclusive, informal refuge for couples who want to rediscover peace of mind and each other. It combines old beach house features with modern comforts.
Situated high on sand dunes overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, it rises three stories to give breathtaking views. Outside are tin roofs and the large porches. Inside, you'll find pine, ceramic tile and beaded board. Round timbers rise through the house, like the masts of old sailing ships. Both sunrises and sunset unfold over the sea. To the east is the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge with sand dunes and live oak stretching as far as the eye can see. To the west, The Beach House overlooks an enclave of vacation cottages. The view extends ten miles in each direction, from the nighttime glow of Gulf Shores to historic Fort Morgan at the end of the peninsula.
Each room has pine floors, oriental rugs, private bath, luxury towels, robes and toiletries. Beds have premium mattresses, sumptuous featherbeds, down pillows, luxury linens, and bedside tables with proper reading lamps. Each room features a celing fan, a sea view and candles. Central A/C is used in hot weather.
