Overlooking Sacramento's Southside Park, the Inn at Parkside is an urban oasis of relaxation and renewal. We stayed here for our delayed Honeymoon night and it was wonderful. We stayed in the Kiss room and was very happy with it in every way. If you want to feel pampered and "fancy" this is the place for you.

All rooms feature wireless internet access, cable TV, private baths, and luxurious Molton Brown amenities. This is one of our extravagant rooms- Refresh! While soaking under the gilded Buddha in a spa tub you hum, 'somewhere in my youth or childhood I must have done something good'. You opt to enjoy breakfast on the balcony watching children play at the park and slip into the spa shower washing away your cares. Above the fireplace with its dancing flames, 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' unfolds on a 37 inch flat screen HDTV. Tonight you plan to steal a quiet moment on the soft chair by the fireplace reading the Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. Come alone or with a lover but come realizing you did 'something good'.Passion- superior room with vibrant walls and rich, gold bedding add vitality and energy to any stay. Special features include a museum-quality queen-sized Chinese bed and an en suite spa bathroom. Complete with garden murals, the baths Jacuzzi tub is a sensuous spot to soak in flickering candlelight.
Tranquility- a deluxe room, which is the ultimate in tropical elegance. Features include a queen-size four-poster bed and a spacious bath with original pink tile and a long, deep spa tub for two. The garden view out the grand window brings the lushness of the inn's tulip tree right into your room. Enjoy the serene silence of this room's peaceful and calming environment.Spirit- a deluxe room with the most-talked about bed in the inn. With great arching posts suspending a wood canopy inset with a mirror, this king-size bed with tropical print bedding summons a spirit of adventure. Creamy shades of mocha and cocoa blend with tropical themes throughout the room, which includes giraffe-and-palm bedside lamps and a bamboo print in the sitting area. The en suite bath features a private shower.
Balance- a deluxe room as this first-floor room provides easy access to the inn's common rooms. Its garden terrace location combined with a queen-sized bed with the most comfortable mattress in the building make this an excellent retreat. An original hand-carved fireplace, deep soaking tub, and built-in bookshelves beckon guests to relax and linger.Balance- one of our deluxe rooms offers lush views and a warm fireplace!
Happiness- one of our extravagant rooms- decorated in green with gold accents, this room is delightfully spacious and features a king bed to the wall-to-wall marble in the spacious bathroom. A favorite for wedding nights and anniversaries, Happiness offers romance everywhere you look -- a large spa tub for two, a double-headed shower, a bidet, and two fireplaces. A small kitchenette completes this expansive space.The fireplace in Happiness- one of our superior rooms!
Healing Energy- our standard room. Cozy and peaceful, this room features an exquisite queen-sized pipe canopy bed. Complemented by the stunning Italian Delarobia side tables and armoire, the design of Healing Energy strikes a harmonious balance between the hard and the soft aspects of femininity and masculinity. Parkside Residence is a full one bedroom spa apartment with a 42 inch flat screen TV, All marble bath with spa shower with body jets and a full spa tub for two, fire place, with a full kitchen and dining room. The Lounge- one of our extravagant rooms! Unwind in your own private lounge! This is the place to waste a day or two and shirk off all of your responsibilities. The room is open and spacious allowing you to soak in the large spa tub after a total body exfoliation, then hop into a large multi-head spa shower surrounded by the soothing lines of clean white marble. Bring a good book, curl up in the Kashwere chaise lounge and remember why quiet time is good for your soul. Without the confines of walls you just lounge around. The fireplace throws a warm glow across the bed begging you to hop in and drift away. Mindless or trashy TV habits can be secretly indulged on the 37 inch flat screen HDTV. It's all OK when you are in your own private lounge. The real question for this room is, "Do I want to go alone or bring someone"?
