A 1906 Georgian style mansion with over 9000 sq ft is located on 1.3 acres in the architecturally-rich West Main Street Historic District near other large estates. The spacious mansion provides guests with plenty of privacy -- 4 well appointed guest rooms (all with walk in closets and one room large private balcony overlooking gardens and landscape pond). Guests are encouraged to use the 5 public rooms, and 2 patios plus stroll through great gardens (appeared on cover page of "Ohio Magazine") with pond and waterfalls. A serene and romantic getaway for bridal couples, an anniversary, vacationing or anyone wishing a quiet getaway with that special person or friends. Great spot for four couples who wish to play golf or have a small reunion of friends / family.

A 32' long latticed pergola provides a scenic backdrop for the gardens in the back of the property. Guests enjoying the Lady Anne room balcony or guest enjoying one of two large patio have a wonderful view of the many gardens and the landscape pond, stream and water falls. Stoned paths around the property frame the gardens and provide an easy means for a leasurey stroll.Elegant AAA Four Diamond lodging on 1.3 acres of nicely landscaped grounds located in architecturally rich Historic area of large homes and estates. Easy walk to uptown shops, dining and Day Spa.
Elegant furnishings and a portion of the five public rooms can be viewed from the gorgeous guest stairway. The private guest entrance leads to this large foyer with living room (with oak mantled fireplace) in the upper left cornor and mahongany paneled dining room where gormet breakfasts are served for guests. Hardwoods are original to the large mansion as is the cove and dental mouldings.
Queen canopy bed in the Lady Anne Room is a quiet, spacious retreat with sitting area in the room, a private balcony with wicker furniture for guests to view the wonderful gardens and rear property and listen to the waterfalls located just below their balcony. Winter rate - $150 and summer - $200 / night. Rates include taxes and breakfasts. Lord Sheldon room has a cherry, four post bed overlooking one of the original fireplaces (sorry non working)in the large home. The attached bath has a combination tub and shower. The room also has a sizeable walk in closet with a built in vanity for storage and the room has a cherry secretary as shown in the photo. all rooms have cable tv and there is wireless internet. All rooms have fluffy towells and robes. Winter rate is $140 and summer $175. Rates include taxes and breakfasts.
THE LADY KATHRINE ROOM - Well coordinated wall and window coverings highlight this very popular room where fine antiques allow guests to step back in time. A gorgeous antique burl walnut bed with an antique marble top dresser and slant top desk provide upscale accommodations. The extra large private bath has a jacuzzi whirlpool tub and shower plus a small dressing area and a dressing bench. Price per night: Summer $175 and winter - $140 Taxes and breakfast included.
