This is the kind of B&B that my husband would love! As a sailor, he loves meandering about boats, and the view of the marina is spectacular. I awoke in my room to sunrise over the marina - a peaceful and stunning sight. I was traveling alone on business when I stayed here. I wanted to stay at a B&B where I would feel safe. Dave and Sue are so welcoming and accommodating, I immediately felt at home. They offered wine, biscotti and fresh fruit, upon arrival. Home made cookies were offered after dinner too. Yumm. The inn is an easy walk to Niantic's shops and restaurants. There's also a lovely boardwalk that allows you to walk along the water too, and it's just steps from the inn. The rooms are cozy, clean and inviting. I really enjoyed the fireplace and view from my room (#5). The wi-fi signal is strong, so there was no problem working from the rooms too. Breakfast on the porch was a treat. There's nothing like enjoying a steaming cup of coffee while rocking in wicker rockers and watching the boats come and go. Priceless. I'd highly recommend the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina to everyone whether traveling on business or pleasure.

Wrap-around porch, great view, extra-friendly guests, wine & chit chat about your day in the evenings. Harbor Hill Inn is the most comfortable and relaxed inn I've ever stayed at and based on the conversations at breakfast and in the evenings on the front porch I'd say everyone staying there felt the same. The rooms are comfortable and have all the amenities. And you can walk to the beach and in to town! Sue & Dave are hands-on owners & so welcoming! I will definitely be back.

The Inn always has the best breakfast. If you go away hungry, it's your own fault. The rooms are always clean and well kept on a daily basis. The employees and owners are very friendly and willing to guide to best places to visit. I'll never forget our first visit with the horse and carriage ride. The people that had the carriages had a history behind each carriage in the barn. We loved it. The massage was great, too!!!!!!! The candy and wine was really nice to find in our room. What a way to spend an anniversay and Valentine's day.

Sue and Dave at Inn at Harbor Hill Marina have elevated the bed and breakfast to an art form. This beautiful inn has only 9 rooms, most of which I have seen, since my extended family and I rented all of them for my wedding weekend. All the rooms are very clean and comfortable, some with balconies overlooking the bay. The first thing you notice upon pulling into the parking lot is the impeccably landscaped lawn, complete with gazebo and adirondack chairs, set against a New England backdrop of nautica and boats docked in the harbor. This is what drew me to the hotel the first time I saw it - I imagined us all hanging out on the wraparound porch, catching up and enjoying the scenery. Upon stepping inside, the next thing you will encounter is the wonderfully cozy common "living room" which feels about as far from a hotel lobby as you can get. We spent a great deal of time here just relaxing on comfy couches and visiting. When you check in, the innkeeper will take you on a short tour and show you all the secret joys the place has to offer. My favorite was the guest hospitality area: fresh cookies that are put out every night as well as a refrigerator stocked with iced tea, wine, beer and water. There is also a desk with binders full of local activities and games to borrow for an afternoon diversion. Breakfast in the splendid dining room is another treat. Gorgeous natural light filters in through the glass front doors while you enjoy a tantalizing selection of pastries, breads to toast, fruit, cereal, etc. beside views of the water. The innkeepers are warm, helpful, and attentive without overwhelming you. A huge part of the enjoyment of my wedding was having all my family together and knowing that everyone was so pleased with their accommodations. We are already talking about our next trip to the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina!

My husband booked a weekend stay here for my 40th birthday. What a surprise! The Inn was a million times more beautiful, cozy and immaculate then I could have ever expected. Sue, Dave & Janice made us feel as if we were home. From the beautiful room and views to the home made cookies at night...how could it get any better. I will tell you....the homemade breakfast buffet in the morning is to die for! I had to buy the recipe book just so I could make the dishes for my family. We will DEFINITELY be return customers! I am also going to send my parents here for my father's 70th birthday. My husband scored major brownie points finding this bed & breakfast.

I gave my parents a weekend stay at the Inn as a gift, and the following monday I received a phonecall from my mom absolutely raving about this place. She said it was wonder, comfortable, scenic, the food was great, the attention to detail was amazing. And that they had the best valentines weekend. (20minutes later with my mom still going on about how nice it was and how great the atmosphere was) i figured that it must have really been nice, and that's what prompted me to make this review. If you're looking for a fun, laid back, relaxing weekend, this is the place to go.

It was a getaway trip for my friends and I and we had the most lovely time, meanly due to the homeliness of the place and the friendliness of the owners. They were more than friendly, but more helpful and caring in guiding you to have a good time, with sightseeing, shopping and eating in the area. What a beautiful spot on the marina- quiet, peaceful, tranquility with a view. Our balcony room allowed us to relax by the fireplace, listening to music, while moonlight glistened over the water for us to enjoy all night long. A last minute bargain allowed us this opportunity (We had a discount rate from bedandbreakfast.com "hot deal' LOVE THEM! We mostly travel on deals!) Continental breakfast was plentiful, but we really enjoyed a hot breakfast when at a B&B. Still, we loved our overnight stay. Nice hosts!

This was our second stay from 5 years ago. It was just like we remembered cleanliness to the max, great decorations and a calm quiet comfort. Breakfast was good. What a wonderful last minute getaway we had! Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy all that the inn had to offer. I called for a last minute reservation on Saturday night for a Sunday reservation and was delighted they had a room for us. It was our second wedding anniversery and plans came together for us to getaway for the night however we both had to work in town(we're locals!)at 7:30 Monday morning. We checked in around four and were very warmly welcomed by Sue and Dave. They recommended a few local restaurants a few blocks away as we were planning on a movie downtown as well. The Inn is perfectly located to suit a variety of interests. We walked to the new irish restaurant on a beautiful fall night, stopped in a used bookstore, and saw a movie all within a half mile of Harbor Hill. We arrived back at the Inn to fresh baked cookies waiting on the counter! The bed and breakfast is tucked away on a side street that overlooks the beautiful Niantic Bay. Our room had a spectacular view of the moon over the water and the sunrise in the morning! We can't wait to visit again and stay longer!

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and beauty of this Inn. The property is manicured, the views of the marina are beautiful, the rooms are spotless, the bathrooms are up to date and immaculate, and breakfast was very tasty. Words cannot describe our first B&B experience at The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina. The Innkeepers, the locals of Niantic and Mystic and even the "touristy traps" were very warm, friendly and eager to make our stay the very best. Date of our stay was June 2008. Inn at Harbor Hill is a wonderful place, from the moment we drove in we knew this Inn was special. My husband surprised me with a stay for our 25th anniversary. It could not have been a better surprise or more romantic. Our room overlooked the Niantic Bay and was absolutely beautiful. The room was cozy and had its own bathroom. Sue and Dave welcomed us on Friday and helped make our stay wonderful. They suggested places of interests and restaurants. I have found the perfect place to relive all my wonderful childhood memories of Niantic. We have already visited the Inn 5 times and will be coming back this summer. As a matter of fact, our relatives from Houston can't live without coming to the Inn at least once a summer. The porch is a favorite with the four of us and we spend many hours relaxing, enjoying the view of the water and the boats. We also love the kayaks available and usually paddle into Smith Cove to view where my parents use to live. What a treat! This is our first experience at a B&B. After spending hours searching the Internet for accommodations in the area, we chose The Inn at Harbor Hill. Talking about hitting the nail on the head. The house was exceptionally clean and well maintained. My wife is a clean fanatic and I like things in order so as a team, our friends consider us experts (more like fanatics) in this field. Dave, Sue and the staff were very friendly and informative on just about everything in the area. The mid-week breakfast, (bagels, fresh baked breads and muffins, cereals, yogurt, fresh mixed fruit, juices, coffee, tea and more was outstanding. They even have snacks throughout the day along with soda, bottled water, iced tea, beer and wine. You couldn’t ask for anything more. Being from the Valley Forge Pennsylvania area, it is a bit over a four hour drive for us., I am not one for driving that distance for a short get away but after an experience like this, the drive is well worth it. We just returned from a couple of days away that were absolutely wonderful. The innkeepers Sue and Dave are super nice, friendly people who make you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door until you leave. My husband and I walked in not knowing Sue and Dave and left gaining two new friends. Our room (#7) provided such a beautiful view of the harbor and marina, and also a wonderful view of the sun rise in the morning. We are both looking forward to returning in the spring and being able to sit out on the balcony. We were provided with a wonderful breakfast each morning. We were also given great dinner recommendations. The amenities offered during our stay was great and truly added to making us feel at home. Knowing you can just get a hot or cold beverage and a snack at anytime during the day is nice. In the evening a "sweet dreams" dessert was waiting for us each night making for a nice ending to a wonderful relaxing day.
