we visited the Amish country Nov. 6-8. we stayed at the Greystone Manor in Bird-In-Hand. it was a very unique stay - our first bed and breakfast. the atmosphere was wonderful at the Manor. the rooms were clean and neat, the bathrooms well stocked with towels and toiletries, the amenities beautiful. our hosts were very friendly and helpful in finding places to go and things to do. we definitely will do this again and our enthusiasm has spread over to friends and family who wish to go to Greystone Manor.

October 30, 2009: Driving into Bird in Hand on Hwy 340 my husband and I passed the Greystone, but kept going thinking it was beyond our means. However, when the motel down the street was over $100 for one night, we consulted the Garmin GPS and Greystone's phone # came up. Wade answered the phone, he was courteous and offered us a room in the carriage house for the night at a price well under the hotel. We showed up, were welcomed warmly, checked in with no problems, and got a tour of the main house. Then we found our room in the carriage house overlooking the Manor's gardens, the neighbor's freshly harvested fields, and the farmhouse and barns. We watched the Amish buggies come and go as twilight settled in. The room was very clean and comfortably furnished. The bath was roomy and spotless. No closet, but the big hooks on the wall (Amish-style) supported our garment bags. Angela was a gracious hostess in the dining room in the morning. Breakfast was very good, with eggs and meat prepared to order, biscuits and pastries, fruits, juices, cereal, coffee and a nice selection of teas. On the way out, I grabbed an apple from the box by the front door. From start to finish it was a very pleasant stay. I could see us coming back here in the late summer with our kids and grandkids--with the pool and plenty of room to play and run, the atmosphere would be very welcoming for a multi-generational stay in the area.

What a wonderful place to stay on a visit to Lancaster! The accommodations were wonderful, in this beautiful Victorian Manor and carriage house filled with charm. Our hosts were so friendly and made sure we had all that we needed. The breakfasts were so fresh and delicious, with goods and products from local farms. We began each day with good food, conversation and information about the surrounding area. We will definitely return for a visit in the spring.

On Aug.14-16,2009, my husband and I vacationed at the Greystone Manor B & B in Bird-in-Hand, PA. We are frequent guests at many B & B's, so we feel we are able to comment objectively. Our stay at Greystone Manor was a "Somewhere in Time" experience. The premises and interior of the manor and the carriage house were meticulously decorated and well maintained. The collage of flowers, gardens and flowing fountains were breathtaking. The crystal clear pool and jacuzzi were surrounded by a multitude of colorful bushes, plants, and trees with strolling walking paths that transcended one into a peaceful and tranquil place. Breakfast was bountiful, cooked to order, and pleasantly served by our host and hostess. Weather permitting, you could enjoy your breakfast sitting outside on the picturesque garden patio, with an occasional friendly greeting from "Max" the cat. The host and hostess provide a supply of pamphlets and menus from the local points of interest and restaurants. A refrigerator, ice machine, and other comforts are readily available. When my husband and I checked out, we felt we had left behind a small oasis of paradise. We highly recommend the Greystone Manor B & B for those who savor a peaceful romantic getaway. Sincerely, Carol Hirtzel and Frank Santangelo, Long Island, NY.

We learned of the B & B on the Sight and Sound Theater website after signing up for "In The Beginning." Our first words as we pulled into the driveway were, "Wow!" Magnificant building and beautiful grounds. The wife and I sat outside around the garden areas for most of the time amazed at the landscaping and variety of plants and flowers. A delicious supper part of the package and a scrumptous breakfast in the dining room. I inspect B & Bs in the south for an insurance company and found Greystone to be one of the most well kept and cared for of any I've visited...beautiful inside and outside with a great value for the price paid...one to which I would return without a doubt. In future planning we will definitely plan another stay.

We had never stayed at a B&B.All the stories about privacy ,food, and accomodations that I have heard over the years are gone now that I have experienced what one is all about,at least here anyway.I had stayed in the area many times before ,but was ready for a change. The grounds were beautiful and picturesque, the room was clean and had everything that I needed. If it was not available it was only a request away.Angela made us feel right at home here. Her breakfasts were more than I expected with variety as well.A homey feeling where I never felt that I was just a room mumber.Greystones' close proximity to everything in the Lancaster ,Bird in Hand and Intercourse area was also a factor.A very relaxed stay to say the least where breakfast conversations were about the area, tips on destinations and info about things in general that were helpful in our days planning. The value was the biggest surprise of all.I had spent much more in hotels and inns and cannot remember anything about them. Here now I have had a stay that I can say was one of my new favorite places. The room we had was in the carriage house and was nice but needed a full length mirror somewhere and there were curtains on order for our room, so there weren't any but the blinds were fine. As we approached the drive and saw the entrance, both my husband and I took in a pleasured breath and exclaimed, "Oooo!" And it wasn't just a beautiful place. We stepped in and were hospitably shown around the lovely living area, snack area and dining room. The room and private bath we were given was tastefully done, and we DID have privacy. Angela served us a yummy breakfast, and it was delightful getting to know some of the other guests. (I had been concerned about privacy, but after introducing myself to a few of the people, I was rewarded with warmth and new relationships.) When it stopped raining, I got my book, went to the gazebo and totally relaxed in that paradise.

My husband and I stayed both in the main inn and in the carriage house. We booked the 2 night package with the dinners/breakfast included and the Amish buggy ride (nice ride & a little insight into the Amish) and then we returned for a single night stay. Both rooms were very different, but both very nice! The whole inn was immaculate, the setting/grounds were lovely and innkeeper Angela and her Dad were very personable, eager to please and helpful with our navigating around the area. My husband & I look forward to spending time there, again! The Greystone Manor experience (and their home made crumb cake) were a "piece of heaven" for an affordable price!

This was my first visit to a B&B and I thoroughly enjoyed my all too brief stay. The Innkeepers were hospitable and helpful. They gave me a great recommendation for a place to have dinner. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The grounds were beautiful and abutted an Amish farm. I would love to see it later in the spring. The food was plentiful and adequate but a little disappointing as nothing was homemade. I would definitely recommend this B&B to my friends and would consider staying there again myself.

Enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again, but noise was an issue for us. Was surprised that no reviews ever mentioned the traffic noise from the road in front of the house. Kept us awake... Entry door downstairs also slams very loudly - since people don't think about how loud it is and hold it so it doesn't slam, suggest seeing if there is a way to have door close as quietly as possible. Also, the breakfast music is louder in the room at the top of the stairs than it is in the dining room. Between the road noise, door slamming and loud music at 7AM, didn't get as much sleep as needed. Again, would stay again. Very clean and enjoyed hospitality of Angela and Wade.

My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful Bed & Breakfast. We took advantage of the 2-night package deal that included a very relaxing Amish buggy ride and dinner certificates for each night of our stay. We were greeted by a very knowledgeable Innkeeper, Angela and were given a tour around the manor on our way to our very nice sized Victorian room. Each morning we were greeted at breakfast by the Innkeepers and treated to an amazing breakfast that was cooked to order for each guest. Guests were all sitting around talking about their day’s plans and getting recommendations from Angela on where they should visit. I especially enjoyed my conversations with her about her children and their life at the Manor. Angela recommended the places that we chose to use our dinner certificates at (Dienners & Molly’s Pub) and we were NOT disappointed. The food was very good and the food on the buffet at Dienners was as homemade as it gets. This B&B is located right in the heart of Bird-n-Hand and is within walking distance of the Farmer’s Market and wonderful bakery’s as well as many little craft and quilt shops. We will be returning this summer and bringing our 11 year old along this time!!! I can’t wait to see the beautiful flowers that so many have spoken about and hang out by the pool. Thanks Angela and Wade for a WONDERFUL STAY!!!! The Severe's

We visit the area several times a year and have stayed in various hotels, B&B's and local resorts over the years. Far and away our experience at the Greystone Manor was the most pleasant, hospitable and welcoming to date. We visited during the MLK long weekend as a part Winter get away and Anniversary celebration. Our room was in the main part of the inn and was both spacious as well as tastefully decorated for the period of the home (Victorian). Most all amenities were provided in a clean, quiet and intimate atmosphere. The Breakfast spread was generous, delicious and prepared to taste. The Innkeepers were attentive to any special dietary needs of guests. We enjoyed sharing local knowledge and experiences with the hosts and the Innkeepers were most gracious in accomodating requests for information and making inquiries / calls on behalf of guest interests and needs. Our only regret was that our visit was during the Winter when the gardens, pool and water features weren't in season. We will return over the Spring / Summer or Fall, however, to take advantage of these features. We found our overall experience well above expectations and felt we received great value for the rates charged.

But when we opened the door of the mansion and saw the beauty of this place and talked to the owner, we were sure we made the right choice. Definitely we will be going back. The family that owns this mansion is a young family that really cares about the people that stay there. The food is great and they accomodated us in every way. They gave us vouchers for things to do and also a voucher for a dinner in town. Greystone Manor will never be a disappointment to anyone. Joyce and Ivan Wilson

4 of us visited Greystone Manor with an 18 month old. It was all that we expected and more. The rooms were clean, large, very modern bathrooms, wonderfully furnished and decorated. The Manor itself is beautiful, wonderful sitting room, very nice dining room with comfortable furniture. The ice machine, microwave and little fridge for the guests to use is a convenient touch. The grounds are very well landscaped with picnic tables to sit at to enjoy the view. The children's playstation with swings and slides were wonderful for us as the little one spent some time outside playing instead of just shopping with the adults. We would definitely stay at Greystone Manor again but next time in the summer to take advantage of the pool. The hosts are friendly, attentive, and always there to assist if needed. Their children are beautiful. I would recommend Greystone Manor to anyone visiting Lancaster County.

We were looking to spend 3 nights in Lancaster the first week in August. In checking several travel sites on the internet for places to stay in Lancaster, two sites had availability of 1 night only at Greystone Manor. T he other option was a nice place we stayed at before for about double the price. We called Greystone Manor directly, and they had availability for the 3 nights we were looking for, so we booked the dates. This is the first time we ever stayed at a bed and breakfast, and liked that each room had a private bath. As you would gather from the website, Greystone Manor consists of two buildings. We stayed in a standard hotel room in the main building, on the third floor. After touring the countryside, on a hot August day (temp 94), we came back to very well landscaped place with flowers, sounds of water in the fountains and manmade pond area and a cool room. We ordered a bottle of wine, and drank it as we enjoyed the relaxing outdoor atmosphere. Each morning there was a continental breakfast and a hot breakfast made for each person. During breakfast, people were friendly and telling each other about what they did the day before or their plans for the day. That’s when we found out about the Green Dragon Flea market and the annual craft fair. The service was efficient, friendly and helpful. Lancaster has many great places to eat, and we were going to one with a coupon from the tourist information center. We were told about a Dienners, a great buffet for a very reasonable price. This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. Wade and Angie were very friendly and efficient, and always available when we rang for assistance. This was a great value and we would return to Greystone Manor in a heartbeat.

This was our first visit to a B & B. We have always stayed in chain hotels. It was really nice. I loved the grounds (flowers, water, etc.) The pool is really nice except for a few bugs floating on top which I'm sure is normal. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves. My husband has never wanted to stay at a B & B because he would feel funny inside someone's home. We didn't feel that at all. he loved this place and we will definitely stay there again. Angela was very very helpful. The room was small, but it was very nice and who stays in the room anyway? The bathroom was very roomy and clean. Watch out for the bath mats, I have a very large bruise on my leg because it slipped as I was getting in the tub. The breakfast was excellent, the best watermelon I ever ate. The blueberry pancakes were excellent! I enjoyed petting Max the cat, he is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this B & B. The price of the smaller room was much less than a hotel and we got a wonderful breakfast. We had a good time!

I took my adult daughter to Greystone for a get-away weekend. We both needed a little study time and a lot of rest time. We felt that we stepped into a quiet little paradise. The breakfast that was served to us was a particular treat each morning. There is something to choose for every palate. Lovely peaceful music drew us to the breakfast table each day. The hot tub was particularly inviting in the late afternoon. After eating abundantly at an area restaurant for lunch, we found it enjoyable to pick up a light snack for dinner and bring it back to Greystone to enjoy at one of the many tables in the lovely garden, followed by a visit to the big tree with two comfy chairs to sit in while watching the sun go down and the moon appear over the corn field of the neighboring Amish farm. A delightful end to the day can be enjoyed at the gazebo roasting marshmallows on the barbecue pit. The room in the carriage house was small, but very comfortable and attractive. It was too lovely outside to spend very much time except to sleep and enjoy a little television time. The room was very sufficient to enjoy that. We will definitely return to Greystone. I want to take my husband in the Fall for a romantic get-away!

I was a little skeptical about staying at Greystone Manor after reading some of the reviews, but my boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. The property was beautiful and easy to find, and service was prompt. We booked through BedandBreakfast.com for an extremely low rate of ~$75 for one night and didn't purchase the $99 package that Greystone offers. Regardless, Angela and Wade still gave us coupons for everything except the dinner at Brasserie (a nearby restaurant). We got a room in the main mansion that was much larger than we anticipated for the price (Rm #7). While the rooms themselves were small, they were perfectly sufficient for us, and we found everything to be clean and well-kept. The breakfast was partly buffet style, with Wade bringing us a plate of freshly cooked pancakes and sausages from the kitchen as well. We went for a swim in their beautiful pool before checking out. We found Angela to be friendly, but at the same time, she had a brisk businesswoman presence. She conducted the check-in and introduction quickly and efficienty. From this standpoint, most of the negative reviews are understandable, as they seem to be from older patrons who probably appreciate a slower pace and a 20-minute leisurely chat about the area and the mansion. However, being a couple of 20-something-year olds, we found her style to be perfect - gave us the information we needed in a quick yet friendly way, answered the questions we had, and let us go on our way without any fuss. Also considering that we paid such a great rate for our stay, everything about our stay greatly exceeded our expectations. If we had paid a couple hundred dollars to stay per night, then yes - I would've expected a little more personal attention, a fully served breakfast, etc. But all in all, it was a much more enjoyable and relaxing stay at the Greystone Manor than it would have been at a comparably priced motel, and we had very little to complain about.

thank you very much for your comments we appriciate them dearly. I am sorry if I come across short some times, with the 3 kids being just turned 4,2,and 3 months the take a little too much of my attention, so I really apologize and will take the comments and work on them, so they are appriciated. I am glad you had an overall good stay and we stride to keep our prices economically low (especially in a recession) and still provide good food, clean rooms, and a beautiful setting. Greystone Manor Bed & Breakfast - Bird-in-Hand, PA: "First Class" from the moment we arrived to the good-byes at the door. It was a great get-a-way. The owners, Angela and Wade and their children are most gracious hosts. The mansion is beautifully decorated Victorian style and each of the three floors showed love and class throughout. Each morning we were served a different delicious entre, along with other great breakfast selections. Our conversations with Angela, Wade and Grandpa gave us ideas for the days outings and directions/maps to get there. It was also great to get to know the other guests, people from locations across the country. The pool, trickling water-fall, gazebo and beautifully decorated gardens were my favorite spots. I took many pictures in hopes that I can create something like it at our home. We look forward to returning soon for another sojurn in the PA countryside. Judy, Ontario, Canada.

Our daughters treated us to a 2 night stay at Greystone Manor for my wife's birthday. It was a very pleasant stay. The gardens are beautiful . We bought plants we liked in the gardens at nearby stands. The breakfast provided was nice - french toast and scrapple. We stayed in the smallest room. Next time we will reserve earlier to get a larger room. The pool was open, but we didn't go in. It was a very relaxing time.

The walk up to the manor gave us the impression of a secluded retreat. It was hidden up on top of a small hill and the gardens were just lovely, really lovely. When we arrived the family that runs it were outside in the gardens with their small children tending to the flowers. We right away received a warm welcome and speedy check in. Angela was very helpful and told us were to go and were to eat. We had a lovely room in the carriage +hat wasright next to the gazebo and firepit which was lovely and great for us we loved the sound of the water outside our window at night. In the morning we had breakfast around 8 AM and had cinnamon raisin french toast with sausage and a homemade apple topping. There was other things out to each but that was plenty for us. We loved the inn's location too it was so we could walk to get our free buggy ride which was the highlight of our trip. We will definitly come back to this inn .

The gardens were very impressive, the gazebo with the firpit in the middle was a delight to sit in while we watched the flowing waters of the ponds through the gardens. The inn was very well maintained and the innkeeper family could not have been more friendly. The food was also very lovely and very plentiful.

A girls weekend away from home was so enjoyable mainly because we picked one of the finest B&B's in Lancaster! Angela and Wade met us upon arrival, proficiently had us registered, given us a map of the town, suggestions where to eat and shop, and in our room very quickly. This young couple, and their 3 small children are so delightful. The grounds are as well kept as the Inn itself. Food was awesome and plentiful. Rooms are well maintained and tastefully decorated. Our bed squeaked a little but we were so exhausted from our shows and shopping this did not take away from our perfect weekend. We will return for more shows at Sight and Sound and we will definitely stay at Greystone Manor. Oh, don't let forget to mention that the coupons they gave us were such an added treat and VALUE. Dinner at Dineners, cost the 2 of us only our tip and the food and service were beyond belief!! The free buggy ride was terrific, and lunch at the Creamery hit the spot. Thank you Angela and family

We stayed in a very small third floor room. Considering the price the smallness of the room was acceptable. There was even a small TV. We still had a very nice breakfast. A very pretty setting in the heart of Amish country. We enjoyed watching a local farmer plow his field with a team of mules as we sat in the parking lot. The checkout was the easiest I have ever had, probably because we booked using bedandbreakfast.com.

The gardend were absolutley lovely too and the water feature was just relaxing to hear from our room at night. The location was very nice, in the middle of fields and right next to the city of Bird-in-Hand where the majority of the Amish sights are located. The views from the property were beautiful and the gardens were very well maintained. The only disappointment was the room - we stayed in the carriage house which is not nearly as attractive from the outside as the main house and the room was on the small side, with a hard bed and lumpy pillows. We did choose the least expensive room, however.

Three sisters and their spouses from CT, NJ and GA met at the excellent and fortunate choice of Greystone B & B for a mini-family reunion to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. Mom was thrilled to spend three days and two nights in the relaxed Lancaster, PA area. Bright spring flowers lined the garden pathway to welcome us. Innkeepers Angela and Wade were cheerfully available and provided for our celebration by giving guidance as well as valuable coupons for dinners out, free ice cream cones, local discounts and an Amish carriage ride. The hot breakfast entrees were more than ample and the food bar selection was wide. We were invited to use the Main House lobby for conversation and games up until 10:00 pm. The bedrooms in the Carriage House were sufficiently but not extraordinarily outfitted; there were a few minor aggravations such as a faulty lamp switch, insufficient electrical outlets, and a squeaky bed in one room. Our stay was wonderful and we plan to return. Staying at the Greystone made our visit affordable and enjoyable. There is much to see and do in the area and Greystone B & B is a great base from which to explore the heart of Amish farmland in PA.

This was our first stay at Greystone Manor. I decided to book something nice for my wife's 40th Birthday surprise. About the Manor--The lanscaping was phenominal, even in March! The walkway to the Manor was lined with very appropriate garden-lights. Inside, the decor, took 'us' back to the turn of the century; it was lovely, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for, for a long weekend to relax. Our room was spacious, historic, and updated with what we needed to feel comfortable and cozy. Each morning, we enjoyed a fresh-homemade breakfast that was brought to our table/ homemade french toast, sausage, pancakes, and fresh coffee, just to name a few. The housekeeping was outstanding. The parking was nice and close. The outdoor garden was excellent. The hospitality was out-of-this-world! We will definately return to the Greystone!

My friend and I found Greystone manor after a long trip through Amish Country. The outside of the Manor looked so inviting we stopped to check it out. We were welcomed by Angela, who quickly showed us a large room that was funished beautifully. The price was $99.00 a night with breakfast. The affordability we could not pass up. After staying one night, we decided to stay another two nights. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a very large shower stall with two sets of jets and a large old-fashioned bathtub that I could not resist taking a bath in. Breakfast was delicious and filling that we had to skip lunch, we were so full. We ventured around the local towns by the direction that they provided at the Manor and did some sightseeing and eat st some great resturants at night. Our vacation was so pleasurable and affordable, I would recommend everyone looking to tour Amish country and Landcaster to stay at the Greystone Manor.

We stayed at this inn for 3 nights valentine's weekend. We are locals that wanted to do something but not go too far away from the kids. We have passed this inn many times and have had friends rave about it so we wanted to check it out for ourselves. Boy it is a nice place, great atmosphere and wonderful family running the place. Angela was so friendly and I can not believe she was cooking and working as hard as she was 1 week out from her due date of her baby, God bless her. The quiche was outstanding and homemade muffins, pancakes w/ apple topping we could not have asked for better home cooking. Even though we were local we wanted to eat with an Amish family. This was also a wonderful homecooked pleasant meal that I would recommend to all that stay here. Overall we had a wonderful time, for a great price and put a few pounds on having a great weekend.

we went to Lancaster PA to celebrate our anniversary and we are so glad we found this inn. The moment we arrived we were welcomed by Angela, she was so nice and even upgraded us for free to a suite with a fireplace and canopy bed because it was our anniversary. The room was very clean and smelled like fresh holiday greens and was decorated for the holidays so lovely. Then the hospitality continued and the innkeepers booked us a romantic dinner in a private wine cellar at the old greenfield restaurant, probably one of the best restaurants i have ever eaten in. Upon returning from dinner to my surprise my husband had set up with Angela and wade to have 2 dozen roses and champagne placed in our room and a box of huge hand dipped chocolate covered strawberries. So needless to say this was the best night and anniversary I could of ever asked for and I have to thank Greystone and my husband for planning it all out.

This was an incredible B&B, the flowers were so delightful and the grounds just breath taking. The room rate was so reasonable, and we got a free carriage ride tour, free ice cream, comfortable room that was very clean, and a hot breakfast each morning. This was the best deal for what this place was. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Lancaster, it is definitly a great deal and is a beautiful place.

Do you dislike flowers? Then Greystone Manor at Bird-in-Hand, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is probably a place to avoid. But if, like me, you would like a beautifully maintained mansion adjacent to a contemporary cottage planted in gardens of flowers that only an imaginative master gardener could create, plus a swimming pool, gazebo, and little waterful at the head of a small and delightful stream, in my opinion you couldn't do better than to arrange a visit. My room in the cottage was comfortable, cheerful, and country-quiet. A complimentary ride through surrounding farm-land in a horse-drawn buggy with a genial Amish gentleman was a delightful extra. On a scale of one to five stars, I would really like to give it six.

Beautiful inn with amazing gardens a true treasure. We loved swimming in the pool and relxing in the gardens. The dive in movie was so wonderful, we actually sat in the hottub and watch a movie on a huge outdoor screen. The room was only 99.00 and was clean and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Wow what a wonderful B&B and for the price it was amazing. We had a hot breakfast buffet each morning, an outdoor movie on saturday night with snacks and drinks, and the grounds are so peaceful. We layed in the pool for 1/2 the day on saturday and talked with the Amish neighbors that were over using the pool. We paid only 99.00 for the room in the cottage and it was lovely, clean and quiet just what we wanted. I definetly think everyone should try this Garden of eden. Thank you for a lovely weekend

We just got back from a four-day stay at Greystone Manor to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. It was wonderful! The rooms and grounds are breathtaking! We didn't want to leave! So peaceful and relaxing. The food was great, Angela & Wade are nice people and very helpful in suggesting things to do in the area. Can't wait till we can go back again. It may become our yearly anniversary trip!

We are staying at the inn right now, May. The flowers are beautiful, the grounds are lovely. Last night we sat and watched the Amishman neighbor plow his field until 10pm right next to the inn. Everyone was outside and it was a great experience just what we wanted to see in Amish country. Room is comfy, great mattress firm like we like it. Very clean, only regret, we came too early and the outdoor pool is not open until memorial day weekend. Breakfast buffet is good too. First timer to Amish country I think we will be back!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in a charming victorian room with large attached bathroom (huge old fashioned tub as well as a modern shower). Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight with sunshine streaming thru the stained glass windows.Such nice innkeepers!

My mom and I stayed at the inn just a few days ago and had a great time. The food was good and the room was very clean. The maids even gave us extra towels anytime we wanted them. We talked with Amish kids right outside the inn on the front porch; they were the neighbor kids so I really liked that. There is actually a lot to do in Lancaster Amish country, to my suprise. I thought this weekend was going to be a boring 'mom and daughter' thing but it was actually fun. Thank you very much Greystone for a good time.

We stayed at the greystone for the first time for valentine's day weekend. The room was clean, and so romantic. It had a king poster bed, flat screen TV, fireplace, sitting room, and balcony, (but it was a little cold to enjoy the balcony). Each morning our breakfast was good and the innkeepers were great, very attentive and informative. We loved our stay, thank you!

Innkeeper Response
First off our rooms are so clean that I would allow my 1 year old to eat off of the bathroom floor, we take pride in our very clean establishment. Not only do we have a cleaning staff of 3 we have a supervisor that checks all rooms after the housekeepers are finished. We have no broken tv's actually 60 percent are brand new and anything that would or could be wrong we encourage at check in that you tell us right away...if you don't say anything we can't fix it. For value, well we have a policy in place kind of like those big box stores "we beat any price" and this is a fact...just look at our 40.00 specials and 199.00 all inclusive packages. So we are sorry if this person did not get up in time for breakfast and couldn't operate our tv we wish they would of said something at that time so we could of fixed the problems if there were any.

We stayed at the inn right after christmas. The lights were beautiful, they outlined the whole mansion. The rooms were warm and cozy, we had a fireplace room and it was beautiful. We will be back in the summer to see the flowers everyone talks about. Thank you!
