This B&B is well-located in the Montrose/Museum District area. It has a very comfortable, pleasant, home away from home, ambiance. Robin and her stay are supurb. I highly recommend this B&B for those travelers who appreciate the uniqueness of these kind of accommodations. Bob Martino

Who doesn't love a great, different kind of place to stay? Robin's Nest is just that. Very homey and relaxed and quiet. Wonderful breakfasts--eggs ranchero, a fabulous breakfast casserole, delicious coffee! The staff was friendly and unobtrusive, and Robin was a great hostess. Plus, the location can't be beat.

I stayed at Robin's for a month and had a wonderful time - She and Jessica were friendly, helpful, the breakfasts were delicious, I cannot think of a criticism of either the place or the attentiveness of Robin and Jessica.

This little place is near the Museum district, Zoo, St. Thomas University, and easy street route to Down town. It is perfectly suited for vacation or business. I stayed 3 nights and found Robin and her staff to be freindly and helpful. You can have privacy or sit and chat as you wish. Interior is comfortable and clean. Exterior (yard etc.) is a little less inviting. The breakfasts are amazing! They do have cats and a dog on property, but they do not go into guest areas, and unless you look for them you wouldn't know they are there.

My husband and I have stayed at many B & B's. We found Robin's Nest sweet and charming. It is not a lavish, glamorous place, but it is sweet and charming. The breakfast was good, and the price was right.

My husband and I were there on Valentine's Day. We used to live in the Montrose area 30 years ago and love the area. This is a lush, green, happy oasis in the heart of the big city. The room was over-the-top romantic. We sat on the porch and drank wine as the rain sprinkled down.Thank you Robin's Nest for a lovely stay! D&K

The location was wonderful. Close to everything. The house was quaint. Very clean. We recieved no breakfast the first morning and no one to contact to find out why. I left a message but never recieved a return call. The room was not as shown in the picture. Different furniture and no sheets on the bed except for a sheet on the pillow topper. The matress and boxspring was exposed. Very unattractive. Overall it was ok but not what we paid for. Almost $700.00 for 3 nights and we basically recieved no service what so ever. We were very disapointed.

My husband and I were vsiiting Houston with our 5 year old son. It was our goal to visit area musuems and the zoo. Robin's Nest was perfect! The neighborhood was clean and quaint, and the house itself was a real treat. They did a great job of accomdating our son with a roll away bed and making him plain scrambled eggs each morning. Breakfast was so delicious! We met great people, and as a whole, the weekend was perfect!

I loved staying at Robin's Nest. Its in a nice, kinda secluded area but walking distance from wherever I needed to go. I stayed in the treehouse...an upper apt with closed in garage for parking. Personally, I loved the privacy. It was just what the dr. ordered. The grounds are beautiful and well groomed. Robin and Jessica were the best! Greeted me with smiles and open arms. I will visit again and will also tell others to visit Robin's Nest. Worth every penny!

Very pleasant and quiet surrounding whilst the major museums are only a couple of minutes (walk!) away. Staff is extremely helpful and generous. Rooms are very clean and breakfast is delicious. This b&b is for people who prefer a warm and welcoming environment - its relaxed (but always professional) atmosphere is its charm!
