All year we look forward to our beautiful, peaceful week at Rockmere, and our 10th visit did not disappoint us. The moment we see the ocean as we crest the hill on Isreal Head Road, we know we're about to begin another wonderful vacation. Andy, Bob, and Doug are always so warm and welcoming, it's like visiting old friends.
We never get tired of the breathtaking ocean views from our room, the observatory, or the porch. With the Marginal Way so close, we take every advantage of enjoying the tranquility of early morning walks along the sea, returning to a fabulous breakfast at the Inn.
Rockmere Lodge's convenient location in Ogunquit and near Perkins Cove makes it the ideal seaside retreat!

If you'd like to truly experience Ogunquit, Maine, you have to stay in a Bed and Breakfast. Those massive, cookie-cutter, seaside hotels in town just don't have the charm and grace of the B&Bs.
And if you'd like to stay in the best B&B in Ogunquit you have to stay at the Rockmere.
My wife and I have stayed at the Rockmere for three years now and each stay has been delightful. Andy, Bob, and Doug take great care of their guests. They have a wonderful selection of rooms and each room in the house has its own look and personality. We like to try a new one each year.
Breakfast in the morning is excellent and Andy, Bob, and Doug make sure that everyone is comfortable and accommodated. The breakfast banter is fun and relaxing. We laugh a lot at breakfast.
These innkeepers are experienced and it shows in everything they do. They know the local scene so they can recommend fun restaurants and activities.
This B&B has many guests who, like us, return each year. Part of the reason we return is for the beauty of Ogunquit and the great restaurants, but we also return to see our good friends at the Rockmere.
We look forward to our stay each year. It's a great place.

We just arrived from the Rockmere Lodge. We stayed four nights. It's our third stay there. And again this year, everething was so perfect. The hospistality, the welcoming of the tree inkeepers were great. The house is beautiful, the room #4 was spacious and beautiful,we also had a good service. The towells were changed each day, its so clean and quiet. It was very relaxing. And of course the breakfasts were very good. The decor was incredible. What about the tree inkeepers? They really want you feel like home. They enjoyed to speak with you and tell you such a good and comic story.
That simply the best, everething was so close, the Marginal way, the private beach. We'll be back next year. Thanks for the relaxing sejour.
