We stayed in the Banyon Cottage, a lovely retreat. The cottage is huge and comfortable. Our host, Ken Smith, went out of his way to make us feel as though it was our home while we were there. Breakfasts of local fruit, fresh pastries, and eggs right from Ken's chickens were plentiful and delicious. Wild turkeys roamed and colorful tropical birds fed as we ate on the front patio. We felt ourselves exhaling and relaxing. Our recommendation: book the Banyon Cottage for privacy and beauty. Aloha!

We want all to know that this B&B far exceeded what we were expecting. Our host, Spiro, was gracious and friendly. He was very helpful and knowlegable. Very clean and quiet rooms. We will stay here again, for sure! Gary & Venette of Colorado

Malia Room, king bed, full bath, French door to private garden. Our bird lovers view from the breakfast outside covered seating area. The birds love our left over home made bread. But you can have it fresh every morning with our Breakfast Lovers Buffet.
Each day we have wild birds and sometimes wild turkeys and Hawaiian Pheasants join us for breakfast. This is the breakfast dining area at Hale Maluhia Country Inn, house of peace. Some just sit and read all day.Hale Maluhia Country Inn (house of peace) This photo is the Gate House with the Maile and the Pikaki Rooms overlooking the koi ponds. Java sparrows show up ever day, sometimes by the hundreds to join us for breakfast.
