Sycamore House Bed & Breakfast

Sycamore House was built around 1905 with large rooms and generous windows that give the house a light, airy feel which we have continued in our use of antiques, contemporary furniture and art. We offer luxurious accommodations and personalized service in a suite with a queen bed, bath and sitting room/library with wood-burning fireplace and two additional bedrooms with private baths. We have added a heated pool and spa set in a secluded garden with plants chosen for color and fragrance. Guests can have breakfast whenever they wish it, rather than on a set schedule. Judy loves to cook and is happy to make a full American or Continental breakfast with home baked goodies. You can walk to our rapid transit system and the restaurants, galleries and music venues in Decatur in five minutes, yet Atlanta and Buckhead can be accessed by rail or car within minutes also.

We enjoyed a long weekend with Ren and Judy. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated as was our own private bath. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. We enjoyed an afternoon reading on the front porch and napping in the hammock.... read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sycamore House. It is centrally located, which allowed us to check out Decatur on foot. We especially enjoyed visiting The Brick Store Pub.

Judy Manning is an outstanding innskeeper ---extremely gracious and fun! The pets are wonderful, accomodations comfy, food excellent, location the best---the rates are reasonable, but we would stay there no matter the cost--its that great!
