I recently went to Medina and stayed at the Spitzer House B&B for my Christmas Holiday while visiting family. It couldn't have been more picturesque. I had Anna's room in the front of the house where I could look out my Jack Frost windows at the snow, listen to the wind chimes and see the A.I. Root Candle Company just a walk away. I had a warm, cozy room with warm lighting, so many layers of feather down and blankets on the bed to keep me warm I felt like a pea in a pod as I sank into them every night. My bathroom was stocked with everthing I could need and I drug myself out of the shower every morning as I wanted to just stay there forever under the huge shower head and the hot water. Janet made sure I had lots of towels, blankets, hot chocolate, and something sweet on my nightstand, and at breakfast I would wonder down past the lovely hearth warmed parlor and gaze at all her lovely Christmas decorations, antiques, candles, and family pictures where Janet greeted me with a lovely breakfast and chatted with me for awhile. I felt right at home and well taken care of like I was with my own family...or even a big sister. I can't wait to make my next trip to Medina and stay there again. It made my Christmas perfect!

Beautifully decorated with fine furnishings, Christmas & Victorian details everywhere. Comfy beds, great Jacuzzi in the Evalyn room, and wonderful food. Hosts very accommodating. I think we ran them out of hot water, though, because we filled the Jacuzzi (with both hot and cold) and then our friends in the next room got 1 hot shower and 1 cold shower. We were the only 4 people staying that night, so we had a lot of privacy. Every amenity you could think of, just like a great hotel. The decor was breathtaking and everything was impeccably clean. We would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend to family and friends!

This is an outstanding bed and breakfast...I've stayed several times because I live out of town but have family who live nearby and this makes it easier on everyone. The food is generous and every comfort is anticipated by the outstanding hosts. Even when I can stay with family...I sometimes prefer this inviting retreat because it offers sumptuous privacy. You will not be disappointed.

We flew from Hawaii to Cleveland for our honeymoon. I would have to say. I would stay there again when I return. The food was outstanding,and the warm,and charming atmosphere was beyond words.

This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast. I must say, we were very pleasantly surprised! The C.M. Spitzer House is well worth the visit! If you have a chance to spend an evening or two there, I would highly recommend it. The house is like stepping back in time. Our room was perfectly decorated, very clean, and very romantic. They even provide the bath robes. Nice touch!! We let them know what time we'd like breakfast, and it was ready at that time, and delicious! Fruit, Cheescake, Eggs, Sausage, Orange Juice, Ice Water and Coffee! There are so many collectible items, old & new to admire in this home while you're enjoying your stay. We had a very nice conversation with the owner as well. My husband and I both look forward to visiting again! Very classy place! Excellent Service! It will exceed all of your expectations! My daughter and I just spent the weekend at this beautiful B and B. The room was delightful and our every need was met. Food and conversation, supplied by our charming and engaging hosts, were the highlight of our visit.
