For all of you that like a retreat this it! NO TV, Original Wild West rooms and a Mick Jager hide away ranch down the road. An old stage coach INN B&B fantastic breakfast and wonderful lady named Katie, 100% real thing for all you Brits! Unreal place to stay! It has the internet too. This Brit loves it!

The most wonderful place to stay while in West Texas. My husband and I stayed five nights and were absolutely thrilled. The room was beautiful, very large, clean and the antiques were breathtaking. The grounds were beautiful. Best of all, Kathie Woods, the inn keeper/owner, was wonderful in every way. The food each morning was delicous and stuck to our ribs. We were rarely hungry for lunch. A great value that will not disappoint. We cannot recommend this inn enough! A great, great value!

We have stayed at The Veranda in Fort Davis 4 times. Although we enjoy the accommodations, the breakfast is skimpy in terms of portions compared to the many B&B's we have stayed at. It would be nice to have a choice of non-sweet pastry instead of very sweet.

I stayed with a friend october 12, at the veranda, had a very nice room, the owner made dinner reservations for us, which was a perfect choice , the room was very pleasant with high ceilings, there was a soaking bathtub in the bathroom that was very nice and there was an abundance of hot water. the breakfast was outstanding. I would definitely stay there again bob
