Hartshorne House

Guests can not believe they are in the 'City'. A quiet, older home with spacious, wooded grounds and a 'countryish'feeling, yet with easy access, via the famous Staten Island Ferry, to the glitter and excitement of Manhattan. With home baked bread, homemade preserves and the aroma of fresh-ground coffee, all served in front of the fire or on the veranda, many say they feel like they are staying in a farmhouse. Fussy about clean rooms, attractive meal service, and personal attention.
