Larry and Merrily are wonderful people, we enjoyed hearing all the great stories of the past. Larry is a wonderful cook, breakfast was very good. The property is nice, with a great view of the river. The room was very cozy, with a good heater, and we needed it as it was cold that day in January. The only negative was the shower, which was too small. Overall a very nice place and very reasonable price.

We celebrated our first anniversary with two nights at The Riverside Bed & Breakfast. What a lovely spot and gracious hosts! We had a fascinating time exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding Oroville.

Larry and Merrily are lovely guests who open their home and make your stay peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are big, warm and comfy. The views of the river are breathtaking and the shade of the trees is relaxing. If you want to get away, enjoy a book, do some fishing, paint a landscape....this is the place. Be sure to ask Larry about his Tomato and Basil casserole! YUMMY! The morning breakfasts are plentiful with an egg casserole, fresh fruit, breakfast breads, juice and coffee/tea. The breakfast company enjoys lively discussions against the backdrop of a river view. We stayed for five days, and it was well worth it. So much to do, such a central place to it all. We LOVED our stay and will be back!
