Everyone was friendly and helpful. Location 2 blocks off the quare is great. Breakfast is huge with wonderful presentation. Next time we come to Sonoma, we would stay here and bring friends.

After hectic days in San Francisco, the change of pace and scenery we experienced in Victoria Garden Inn was wonderful. The room decor seems to take you back in time -- but still all modern facilities are available. All in all a friendly, comfortable and pleasant inn. Definitely recommendable!

Beautiful Victorian house nestled in picturesque Sonoma Valley complete with serene gardens. It is within walking distance to local wineries, shops, and restaurants in the plaza. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, yet still gave you enough privacy.

Our room was a wee small, but that didn't matter as we spent little time in it. It was quite clean and the shower was nice and strong. Ms. Lewis and her staff were all very gracious and informative. The breakfast was varied, plentiful, healthy and perfect for us.

A superb vacation spot in peaceful Sonoma. The gardens are wonderful and invite you to conversate and share wine with friends. Excellent location and great staff.

My husband and I spent two wonderful nights in the Woodcutter's Cottage. We travel quite often and always stay at B&B's and I must admit that this is one of the best in my experience. Upon arrival we were greeted by their two adorable cats and the owner. We were taken on a tour of the whole property and then shown our room. It was amazing! The room had the most comfortable bed, a nice little fireplace, and a private patio. The staff was very helpful with finding a place for us to dine and wineries to visit. (You must go to Benzinger Family Winery. It's one of the most interesting wineries I have ever been to.) When we returned in the evening we found coffee and tea, cookies, and other goodies left out for us to snack on. The breakfast was served to us in the dining room at 9am as we had asked and it was very tasty. At the end of the day we put on the robes they provided for us and snuck out to the hot tub to relax after our long day. Overall our stay was made extra special by the wonderful owner and her staff. I can't wait to return again when the weather is warmer so that we can enjoy the pool and the gardens a bit more.

We expected a standard hotel, this was absolutely beautiful, charming, and small. We felt very special. Perfect walking distance to Sonoma centre for excellent restaurants, wine tasting and lots of unique shops. Breakfast was delicious and we evn got a packed breakfast when we went out early one day. I cannot fault it!

The inn is located not far from the town square and in walking distance to many great restaurants but still in a very quiet neighborhood. Perfect Location. Donna and her staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and the service was great. It's a very romantic and relaxing setting that we can really recommend.

I was a little leary after reading the previous tepid review but my husband and I could not have been happier with this property. Donna and her staff were warm and welcoming and made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed in the Garden Room which felt like our own beautiful, private English-countryside guest cottage set in a stunning English garden. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bath had a wonderful claw-foot tub/shower with unlimited hot water. The continental-style breakfast was sumptious and centered around an abundance of fresh locally grown fruit. About a 5-min walk to the town square.
