We stayed at Abella to wind down after packing up the moving truck. It was quiet and peaceful. Gina is such a kick! A fantastic hostess and a wonderful cook. Our room was cozy and very clean. The garden is so beautiful. We plan on staying again next time we are down south.

My wife and I stayed at the Abella Garden Inn for our honeymoon 5 years ago. It has been our dream to go back and re-live the experience with the beautiful Italian music, flower petals adorning the walkway, bed spread, and pillows (by special request). We had the best and most relaxing experience ever. Since then we sent my parents there for their anniversary and they loved it too. To anyone thinking of staying here, with Gina, you will NEVER regret it. As an added perk, the food was equally endearing, delicious and amazing. Try it for yourself. P.S. I write this not only because abella garden inn has become special to me after I asked my girl to marry me, the night we stayed there, but because I have never before felt so at home at a hotel before. The rooms were beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The service was outstanding and to think all this was catered to by one single lady was amazing. Our experience at the Abella Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful experience. Gina was a gracious host that opened her Inn to us and made us feel at home. The breakfast Gina prepared for us each day was absolutely wonderful! Our room was like walking into a model home, everything in it's place, cozy and extra clean. My new bride and I chose to spend our wedding weekend at Abella Garden Inn. Both of us have lived a long time on the Central Coast but had never heard of the place. We gave it a shot and found it the most surprising and charming place we've ever stayed at. Our room (the Callalily Suite) was luxurious, to say the least; with a fireplace, spa and a wonderful view overlooking the garden. Gina, the innkeeper, really goes above and beyond in her hospitality: I have met very few people who are more hardworking and genuine in their work. She welcomes you in, tells amazing stories and really treats you like more than an honored guest: she treats you like family. The tea party we had was excellent. There were several beautiful places we could have enjoyed our tea both inside and out in the garden or on the gazebo, but since we had a guest list of 20 people, we opted to sit in the tea room. The scones were marvelous, as was the rest of the food she served. The tea selection was grand. It was a fun time, and Gina went above and beyond to turn it from just a tea party to a true experience. I couldn't recommend Abella Garden Inn enough. The fact that it's so unknown on the Central Coast is a great disservice to the Central Coast.

My wife and I happened to stumble on this place over Memorial Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised. We were treated with a beautiful room with an extremely comfortable bed, gorgeous scenic flower gardens out front, a wonderful and down-to-earth hostess, and a delicious full course breakfast, all for a very reasonable price! Unbeatable for the area. We most certainly plan on going back.

My fiance and I reserved an elopement wedding and weekend stay at the Abella Garden Inn in May of 2009. I discovered the Inn online and booked the reservation not knowing what to expect of the Inn or the area. The Inn, the wedding, and the personal service far exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have been happier with the overall experience. Gina, the innkeeper who felt like family, went the extra mile to ensure our stay and the wedding was top-notch. The rooms were pretty, the food was great, and the garden was the perfect location for a small wedding ceremony and backdrop for pictures. My wife was thrilled with the experience and the other couple we were with were equally impressed. I highly recommend the Abella Garden Inn!

Your little Italian hostess (Gina) is a real hoot! About half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles, Arroyo Grande is easy to overlook... but what a mistake that would be. Originally built as a B&B, there are no shortcomings... rooms, grounds, commons, dining,.. all as it should be. I travel extensively on business and would like nothing more than to have an Abella Garden Inn (and a Gina) in every port up and down the coast.

We recently stayed at Abella Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast in Arroyo Grande where Gina, the inn keeper, hosted our dream wedding! We wanted a small, intimate ceremony overlooking her beautiful gardens and that is exactly what we got. We stayed in the Calla Lilly Suite, which was a definite treat. Aside from the beutfiul house and garden grounds, Gina, was the main reason our stay was so enjoyable! Once you meet Gina you will never forget her and her outstanding Italian hospitality. The rooms and the grounds are the cleanest we have ever experienced and her food was phenominal! Gina's goal is to make everyone feel comfortable and like family as that's exactly what we got. Gina is such a special lady and staying at the Abella Garden is was such an enjoyable experience for us! We will definitely be back and recommend this Inn 100%!
