We stayed for 10 days in Pasadena and this became a cozy, comfortable retreat for us while visiting family. The Van Gogh room was just right for the two of us, clean and private. We were blown away with the hearty and delicious breakfast on a picture-perfect porch, afternoon tea (kudos on the chocolate cake) and great innkeepers, Pat & Rich. The residential location was perfect for strolls and close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed the Thursday Farmer's Market. On top of all that, we received a room discount for every third day. Couldn't have been better than that.

The Artist's Inn is truly your home away from home. Jodie and Dennis are superb innkeepers who make you feel right at home. Dennis' breakfasts' are truly a gourmet's delight and you will not go away hungry. Each room is uniquely decorated with very comfortable beds. The neighborhood is very quiet and you would never believe you are staying in one of our country's largest cities. Each morning brings the delightful sounds of feral parrots that are a delight to see and hear. The Inn is in walking distance to the Metrolink and a variety of boutique shops as well as fine dining. I have stayed at this Inn numerous times when ever I find myself in the Los Angeles area and have never been disappointed. Try it as it is definitely above and beyond the ordinary!

I stayed with my girlfriend at the Artists Inn for four nights. Originally, we only planned for a two night stay. The mid-week package turned out to be a great deal. Shiro Restaurant was great and the Huntington Gardens were spectacular. Jody and Dennis are very helpful and friendly, which makes the place even more comfortable to stay inn.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights, and were very pleased. The room was cozy and comfortable, the breakfasts were very good, and the service was especially friendly and warm. The mid-week special, available on the web, made this a great deal as well! we'd certainly come back if we make another visit to the area.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. It's on a quiet residential street and the main house is quite charming with nice garden and lots of birds. Shops and good restaurants are a short walk a way, as is the light rail and easy access to the freeway. Dennis makes great blueberry pancakes & the breakfasts were better than other B&Bs I've stayed at. Room decor has individual character. Wild parrots sometimes make a racket but are cool to watch. There are several jacaranda trees on this street and they are lovely when in bloom.

My husband, son and I have just returned to the UK having spent 4 nights at the Artists' Inn as part of our holiday. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Dennis's breakfasts are to die for! Nothing was too much trouble, Dennis was only to pleased to be able to help with directions or suggestions of where we could visit. Tea and cake in the afternoon was a nice touch. We would certainly recommend this Inn to anyone. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable one.

The inn was attractive and well kept. The hosts were delightful and went the extra mile for guests who had a very restrictive diet (no gluten or dairy).

My son and his bride had been planning their wedding the last few months and after becoming frustrated with a "little too much input and direction" from some family members decided at the last minute to elope this past weekend. My husband and I wanted to bless them with a special first weekend together, so I got online and found the Artist's Inn while searching for bed and breakfasts around the Van Nuys/LA area. The Inn looked adorable, the rooms very special, the location great and the prices quite agreeable and well that is the place I wanted to send them. It was 7:00pm and check in ends at 6:00pm. My husband said "No way, you will never be able to get them in there, you will have to settle for a hotel." I thought what could it hurt to call. I did and Jodi answered the phone and was wonderful in setting up this special moment. Not only was the room we wanted available, she had it set up, emailed me the directions, and told me our son and daughter in law would be well taken care of in 3 minutes. They loved the place so much they stayed an extra night. They will be writing their own review very soon about how special their time at the Artist's Inn was. I wanted to give my thanks, now though for making this possible. My husband and I will be visiting there soon ourselves. THANKS JODI!!

We loved this B&B so much that we extended our stay! The facilities are spotless and inviting; we loved the VanGough room with its high ceilings and sunflower bath! Each evening we enjoyed lounging in the living area with a hot cup of tea and goodies; reading and chating with the managers Pat & Rich. Breakfast was delicious and well presented; Pat is a marvel with food and accommodated our diabetic needs with steaming bowls of oatmeal in addition to the main entree and buffet items (including fresh fruit, juice, homemade granola, bagles, and toast) We were in heaven! Suggestions for siteseeing were given with acurate directions! We enjoyed taking the metro rail (which is very clean) and walking to various sites. All in all we will be returning to the Artists Inn again and again! Kev & Karen Fay
