This is one of the greatest B&Bs I've ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, the rooms are clean and lovely, the bed was comfortable and the food was gourmet! We hope to make it back again soon.

At the last minute, I was unable to go on this trip with my husband, adult children and grandbaby, but they ALL raved about the "superb" breakfast that was served to them. I had stayed at Abriendo Inn before, so I was pleased to hear that my family agreed that it is the best place to stay in Pueblo...it is also in a pretty part of the town. We have talked about planning a weekend get-away in the future just so we can all be there together.

The owner and staff were extremely cordial and helpful, upgrading our room, unasked. A great variety of snacks and drinks were available upon arriving. The gourmet breakfast was excellent, as was the company in the intimate dining setting. I try to stay there anytime I'm passing through the area, even if it changes my trip somewhat.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the inn. the rooms are lovely, the staff is gracious, the breakfasts are outstanding-new recipes every day. I am treated royally. My sister is in a nursing home, so I love the peace and quiet in my 'oasis' between visits.

When in Pueblo, skip the motels & go straight to Pam and John's lovely Victorian bed and breakfast. You'll be more like family than customer. Pam, a former caterer, tickles your tongue & feels your tummy with gourmet breakfasts -- served at your convenience. The rooms are lovingly decorated with antiques of the era -- all different. You'll want to relax on the 12' front porch with a complimentary glass of wine or cup of tea in the afternoon. If you like quiet, indoor activities (book, newspaper, etc. reading), the parlor is perfect. For our 1st B&B choice, we think we've picked the best!

Our recent stay at the Abriendo Inn happened to coincide with two big events. One being the Blues and BBQ contest at Riverwalk, and the other, Pam & John's first anniversary as innkeepers. Breakfast was outstanding, our room comfortable and the porch was a great place to put your feet up and watch the world go by. My husband and I had a delightful stay and do recommend the Abriendo Inn. Rose Ciccone Associate Editor, Bedandbreakfast.com Report

We just got back from a really nice vacation at the Abriendo. It was our first trip with our 11 month old son and didn't quite know what to expect. We were so grateful to Jon & Pam for their graciousness and hospitality while we were there. They chatted with us, let Sebastian practice the stairs and even provided a pack n play for our use so we wouldn't have to lug it through the airport. The breakfast was gourmet--not just cereal and toast. Every morning was a surprise to see what creative combination Pamela came up with. They thought of every detail the whole time we were there. Since we had to leave early on our last morning and wouldn't stick around for breakfast, Pamela packed us a little to-go portion so we'd have something on the road. The location is also very good. Not on the main strip (Union Ave.), but a nice short walk to get there with a few nice shops to stop in on the way there. Since we did walk to Union Ave., it gave us a chance to stop in the beautiful new Pueblo County Library, which is a brilliant display of modern architecture and our son loved the children's room for a chance to crawl around and play. I highly recommend The Abriendo Inn if you are going to stay in Pueblo. So much more character than staying at a chain hotel!

Our 8-night stay at the Abriendo was absolutely delightful. We arrived late on a cold, snowy night but easily found the Inn with its holiday lights warmly glowing. Our room even had its own Christmas tree... we later discovered every room had one! Breakfasts are wonderfully scrumptious, healthy and beautifully presented as Pamela is a gourmet chef. Both she and her husband, John, are most gracious, warm and willing to help in any way to make everything just right to please guests. It is now our favorite B&B anywhere!

John and Pamela are the new owners of the Abriendo Inn. They are doing a great job. Pam is open to all suggestions to help them improve their new B&B. They made our stay very pleasant. Pamela is an outstanding cook. Some of the best food we have ever had at a B&B. The house is beautiful. Both John and Pamela are eager to please. They do the extra's that made our stay an outstanding B&B experience. Jim and Sandy
