Avenue Hotel


Nestled in the history of Manitou Springs, our Queen Anne Victorian home, built in 1886, offers seven recently renovated large guest rooms all with private baths, most with claw foot tub/shower. Family heirlooms with an updated decor add flare to the charm and distinction of the Avenue Hotel Bed and Breakfast. The three story turning staircase in the middle of the house defines the grandeur of the entry, which boasts a parlor on either side. A delicious freshly made breakfast is served each morning in our spacious dining room. Juice,muffins,fruit and entree along with fresh ground coffee or a variety of teas for you selection. Cookies are bake daily. Secured wireless internet, cable TV, refrigerators with bottled water provided, computer room and guest phone. Hot tub, mountain views and barbecue all are available on the back patio garden. A two unit Carriage house with fully equipped kitchens are available for extended stay, families, weddings or reunions.

The Avenue Hotel is a great starting point for your adventure in Pikes Peak region, just 4 miles west of Colorado Springs. Located in the historic district of downtown Manitou Springs, restaurants, shops and art galleries are in walking distance. Cog Railway to the top of Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and Red Rocks parks, Cave of the Winds or the Pikes Peak Highway are within minutes. Visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls or the Air Force Academy.
Formerly Gray's Avenue Hotel. The historic Avenue Hotel was built as a boarding house; it has served as an apartment building, lodge, and private residence. In 1984 the Gray's established it as Manitou springs first bed and breakfast.

We went to Manitou Springs on a spur of a moment trip and found this bed and breakfast. It was nice and clean. It is of the main road so it its quiet. It is close enough to shops and resturants to walk.

We stayed in the Meadows Room, which was bright and spacious - lots of windows. This house has lots of character, the room was very comfortable, and the location is great for visiting shops and restaurants.
