Thank you so much George for taking the time to post such a wonderful review ~ and thank you for the recipes you sent! Chris and I thoroughly enjoyed hosting you and yours and your friends over the weekend. The rates for two suites on a Friday and Saturday in high season that you paid ~ $185 & $195 ~ are comparable to other B&B's in Eureka springs. Based on the large, truly gourmet breakfasts we serve, endless amenities we offer, the quality of our inn, and premier location, we are confident our rates are "spot on!" We look forward your next visit! Have a wonderful upcoming holiday season!

We contacted this guest to ask how her stay could have been improved in the areas she did rate as "5-Star." She was surprised all areas were not given a 5-star review (as this is what she intended to do) and said she was confused on how the "circle-rating system" worked. This guest will be happy to clarify she intended to leave a 5-star review in all categories. Lisa

We have needed a romantic getaway for a few years now, & I had been telling my husband that I wanted to try staying at a B&B. I knew I had to find one that was a perfect balance of pampering, relaxation, elegance, history, good food, & "not-too-froofy" for us to both enjoy it--and for him to agree to try it. I found Mount Victoria on the web (after looking through endless articles on other B&B's in the tri-state area) & knew I found "the one". I showed the pictures to my husband & he thought it might be good, but warned me that "they always make it look better in the pictures than it really is". But, I knew that this one had everything we were looking for & needed in a romantic getaway--so, at the last minute, my husband agreed to try it. After arriving there & during our stay, we found that it far exceeded our expectations & desires for a 5th anniversary celebration of our marriage. It so happens that we got married in my husband's home church in Eureka Springs, & have family nearby--but have never stayed anywhere in town before. Our stay as guests in Chris & Lisa's home was memorable for all the right reasons--beautiful decor, wonderful hospitality, spacious rooms, great location, every amenity you could want or need, & of course the most delicious gourmet breakfasts (awesomely edible art masterpieces)!!! The coffee/tea, homemade cake & biscotti were also delightful--not to mention the chocolate-covered strawberries (my favorite treat) & champaigne! With the jacuzzi tub, wifi access, & great movie & book library, we had no need to leave our room. Chris & Lisa were wonderful hosts & we felt like we were at a home-away-from-home, only much, much better! It was nice to feel like a King & Queen for a couple of days! After we got back home, I asked my husband about what we might do for our next getaway. His response: "How can we top this?" I guess that means he liked the B&B--and that we'll definitely be back for more! :) Tobias & Tiffany, Springfield, MO View Reviewer Info

We come to Eureka Springs often and always try a new B&B ~ we've tried a lot. This time we chose Mount Victoria and it will be the only Inn we stay at from now on. Quite simply, Mount Victoria is the absolute best!
Perfect, helpful hosts, beautiful Inn inside and out (I told Lisa the Inn should be in Traditional Home magazine and when she told me Mount Victoria was going to be in this December's issue of Southern Living magazine I was not surprised at all!), wonderful ambiance, amazing breakfasts, delicious cake and cold refreshments, large tea selection, great DVD and book/magazine choices......I could go on and on and on!! Our stay at Mount Victoria was romantic perfection - we'll see you next time..and the time after that and the time after that and....well, you get get the picture! Thank you Lisa & Chris for everything. View Reviewer Info

Chris and I are certainly shocked by this guest review ~ we regret this guest's stay was not the 5-Star experience other guests have experienced and shared in their reviews. Although the house is 106 years old we have never detected an exterior odor nor been given that feedback by any guest over the past two years.

We so enjoyed Angie & Gannon and look forward to their next visit!
Our beloved Ping & Pong are outdoor cats and are not permitted in the Suites out of respect to potential guest allergies.

This VERY satisfied guest "loved!" all aspects of our Inn. Unfortunately, she accidentally gave the Inn 4 stars on some categories which she intended to give 5 stars. This guest contacted BedandBreakfast.com to correct her rating ~ she was told they were unable to help her. This guest is happy to answer any / all questions regarding her incorrect rating via email ~ you will need to contact the Inn for that information. Thank you! ~ Lisa & Chris

Unfortunately, this guest did not tell us of the thermostat issue until the morning she was checking out after a two-day stay ~ it was the first warm spell of the season. The problem was fixed the day she told us ~ it was simply a matter of the unit being low on freon.

After our wedding in December and a fabulous honeymoon on the slopes in Breckenridge Colorado and then on the beach in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, I didn’t think that Eureka Springs would have anything to offer. Much to my surprise, my thoughtful husband booked the Mount Victoria Bed and Breakfast for our first Valentine’s together. Nestled in the quaint town of Eureka Springs is this heartwarming get away. The Mount Victoria was our first B&B. To our delight it was outstanding in every aspect. Champagne, delicious chocolate dipped strawberries, Jacuzzi tub, romantic rooms, relaxing atmosphere, need I say more. Lisa and Chris, the innkeepers, know how to take care of their guests, down to every detail. We are looking forward to our next stay. PS. The breakfast is fabulous!! View Reviewer Info

This is one place that we will definitely tell our friends about.
When I visit a bed and breakfast, I want to see some history on the walls, I want to feel transported into another place and time; this home did that. It is exquisitely decorated with many of its furnishings belonging to the owners’ treasure chest of family heirlooms.
We stayed in the Jackson Suite which held a beautiful, old bed and armoire, a huge jacuzzi tub and great light coming in through the bedroom’s 3 windows. Since this was our third anniversary, my husband spoke with Lisa and Chris and had arranged for my favorite flower to be placed on the table along with chocolate-dipped strawberries and a bottle of bubbly. It was the perfect way to celebrate our marriage.
Breakfast the next morning was just as wonderful. The menu included omelets stuffed with spinach, garlic and parmesan, giant FRESH baked muffins (not those mini muffins—this was the Mac Daddy of muffins: B-I-G), turkey sausage links (yes, they’re health conscious, too) and cantaloupe. We chose to dine downstairs but you can opt to have breakfast in your room. We rather enjoyed the conversation with Lisa, Chris and some of the other guests.
If you want cable TV, mini shampoos and a cheap rate, check yourself into the local motel for an equally cheap experience. If you want to enjoy your stay in Eureka Springs, meet some great people and have a rich and lasting experience, call the folks at Mount Victoria. We won’t stay anywhere else.
