We have been to the Inn several times and love the ambiance. The food is the best of any bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. It is extremely well positioned at the corner of the town square and is walking distance to the whole downtown area. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the evenings are a joy. Either sitting and rocking on the porch and enjoying the fellowship of the other travellers or wandering the town square and listening to the music in the warm spring, summer and fall evenings.

David and I have stayed many times at the Inn at Mountain View. Both with the old owners Scott & Shay and the new owners Mark & Jo Ann. When Scott and Shay informed us they had sold the Inn (not only sold it, but to a couple from the big city of Memphis) David and I were afraid it would lose that small town feeling. We were very pleasantly suprised to see it not only hadn't changed, but Mark and Jo Ann had added a unique family charm. The meals are just as wonderful & inviting as ever and the Inn is always full of fun and laughter. When you open the door to your room you are transported back into the 19th century with a tasteful touch of modern convience. We look forward to many more get-a-way weekends at the Inn at mountain View. Mary and David

My wife and I spent a perfect vacation here. It was restful, entertaining, sociable, and we enjoyed our fellowship with both hosts and guests.

We have been going to the Inn at Mountain View for over 20 years and are now on our third set of owners! We were shocked this year when there was a TV in our room (We never turned it on). This is a place to go to relax; rock on the front porch, listen to bluegrass live in the living room, walk the square, take a day to visit the Antique Warehouse in Botkinburg, tour the caverns, hike or bike the trails around Sylamore Creek, as I said - Relax. The breakfasts and special occasion dinners have remained consistently excellent through 3 owners and the breakfast is hearty enough to skip lunch. Joyce and Dan
