We decided to make the 5 hour trip to KC to celebrate our anniversary and found this B&B on the internet. We were not disappointed with the Woodstock and loved our stay here. The rooms, of those we sneaked a peek, were just like the pictures and the French Boudior was a perfect room for our occasion. The owners and staff were the best part-very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to meet. We hope to visit this B&B sometime in the near future and will recommend it to friends and family. We loved our trip to KC and had a great anniversary!

Two nights were not enough! We loved our room -- totally comfortable & appointed beautifully. The Inn is elegant and charming, the courtyard gorgeous. Excellent breakfasts, too! Todd & Patricia are incredibly nice & helpful. We were completely pampered!

My sister and I stayed in the Magnolia Room during my recent visit to Kansas City. It was the perfect room for two family members to sit back and relax. We took a peak at most of the rooms and they were all very nicely decorated. We enjoyed the breakfast and company of the owner and other guests the morning of our checkout. Would definitely stay again!

Upon deciding to see KC at the last minute we were pleasantly surprised to find such a treasure. Not only were the accommodations outstanding but the friendly owners helped us to plan out our stay and took the time to map it all out for us. Breakfast each morning was definitely something to look forward to as we got to know the other guests staying at the Inn...not to mention the offerings were scrumptious. I know we will be back many times. Put this one on your list of must stay list. Jamie and Jeffrey.

I loved everything about the Woodstock Inn and also Independence. While it's easy to spend time going into KC from here, the little town of Independence is historic and really fun. The Woodstock Inn is an easy walk to many of the historic sites of Truman fame. I stayed in the Oriental Suite, with a fabulously hand-carved bed and one of the nicest whirlpool tubs ever. Loved Todd's breakfasts in the morning - especially the fresh baked bread. Todd and Patricia are fun and interesting, and easy to talk to. The inn is great for business travelers too. They even provide cell phones for each guest's use. WOW. I was on business during my stay, and it really helped.

My husband and I spent one night in the Wedgewood Suite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We can't say enough good things about the place. Patricia and Todd are wonderful Innkeepers. They were very nice and very accomodating. We highly recommend the Woodstock to everyone.

Patricia and Todd are great innkeepers, who make you feel right at home but never intrude on your privacy. They know everything about the Independence and KC area, and are full of great suggestions. Excellent value, too!
