Listed on the National register, the inn was lovingly restored to offer 8 luxurious guestrooms, seven with double whirlpools and woodburning fireplaces. In addition to breakfasts, even optional dinners (by advance reservation) are served to your schedule, in-suite or at a private table in the dining parlors, porch, library.In-suite therapeutic massage packages and other custom packages and gift baskets are available. The area is famous for a fabulous local bike trail (12 of the 15 miles along waterways), parks with bluff views, charming historic downtown and award winning Alexis Bailly Vineyard and Winery plus the amazing LeDuc Estate open for tours seasonally.

We are very sorry that you had an unsatisfactory experience at our inn. We take your comments very seriously as does our entire staff. Although we understand that you exaggerated the length of the tour, we do not ever want guests to feel they have to hear any more of our history or restoration story than what they want. Perhaps you checked in at the same time as guests who were more interested and asked many questions. The primary goal of our orientation is to make you comfortable and at home with the whole inn. So the tour includes the location of the "help yourself goodies" (cookie jar, ice cream, hot and cold beverages) , the common spaces and fireplaces in the parlors, library and the four-season back porch. It you had just rented a room like at a hotel, you would been given a key and pointed to the elevator, but at a B & B , you are welcome to enjoy so much more. We sincerely hope you did enjoy the other amenities here. We see this was your first time at a B & B.
We feel equally bad that you did not like your room Since there are photos on the website, we typically help a potential guests choose rooms that they and their partners will like. I am very sorry that it did not suit you. Your comment about an unclean tub is of great concern; we cannot understand how that could have happened as we take the utmost care with our cleaning and have a check and double check system; unfortunately, during your stay, that did not work!
