The great ratings on this inn made it our choice to visit as well as visiting a city we haven't explored before. The location is excellent, so close to everything that we walked much of the time to our destinations. We stayed in the Franklin Inn on Durkee. The 2 inns are a few houses away from each other. Our room was spacious—just wonderful. Great decor (Parisian), HUGE whirlpool which is a luxury for us. The bed was wonderful and we slept like logs. Everything was extremely clean throughout the inn. Judy and Ron are delightful and really are into hospitality and making sure their guests have everything they need. Breakfast was delivered to our room and we loved all the dishes that were served. Appleton is a great city too; much to do. We enjoyed many area attractions and restaurants. This is certainly an inn that we would return to.

While staying in the Sea Breeze Suite we could easily imagine ourselves being in the tropics. The decore was perfect, the food delicious and we were able to watch the stars through the skylight. Our whirlpool tub for 2 completed the tranquil setting. We highly recommend the entire package.

The inn was everything their ad said and more. Lovely old house, but each room or suite modernized for convenience. Some very luxurious, but always keeping the feeling of style and warmth. The location is perfect: close to Lawrence Univer., downtown with its farmer's market and restaurants. The hosts couldn't have been more concerned with making my stay enjoyable in spite of having a full house of guests. Thanks for a wonderful 1st stay in Appleton!

We started our weekend out at the spur of the moment because between the two of us we have 7 children! ( blended family fits the description very well) Anyways......... we had no set plans just packed a few essentials and left. We ended up in Appleton, Wi. and what a slice of heaven we found with Franklin Street Inn! Judy and Ron have thought of EVERYTHING! We trully felt like a King and Queen in the Turret Royale Suite. We have stayed at many B&B's and this was one of the best. There is no stone left unturned here on the level of service you will receive here. We will definetly be back! The house was amazing! Very elegant. We were given a full tour upon arrival. We did have to remove our shoes when we arrived to stop the spread of road salt on the hard-wood floors. We had a lovely room and a wonderful breakfast (included!!!) of eggs, french toast, fruit, coffee and juice delivered to our room the next morning.
