Our family had a wonderful stay at Loy's. She and her husband were very nice and extremely hospitable. Her home is beautiful. The atmosphere is very peaceful and welcoming. We will definitely come back again someday. Oh, and while you're there - do yourself a favor and stop by the Historical Museum in Marengo! That museum turned into the surprise highlight of our entire vacation.

My husband and I stayed here the night after our wedding. We had to come to Iowa for personal reasons and it honestly wasn't the first thing we wanted to do right after our wedding. However, staying at Loy's made the trip worth while. It's a huge BEAUTIFUL house in the country where two of the kindest people live and welcome you into their home. They have multiple rooms, it's very private, and there's even a rec room, kitchen area, and living room. Also, they make you a wonderful breakfast in the morning! We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before but, after spending one night at Loy's I would go back in a heart beat! Beautiful home and wonderfully nice people you just can't find anywhere else. (Plus, great prices for WAY better service than you'll find anywhere else!)
