Innkeeper tries to accommodate needs, provided us with breakfast to go and a preview tour of the room. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Great location, owners were very accomodating, wonderful food and comfortable rooms. We will most likely stay there again.

I stayed at the Golden Haug for two nights and had a wonderful time. The breakfasts were delicious and varied and the hosts were kind and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable and welcoming, without going over-the-top with the pig theme. The B&B is walking distance from downtown restaurants and shops. I recommend The Golden Haug to anyone planning a trip to Iowa City.

Nila has really done a great job with this lovely B+B. The food in the mornings is just wonderful, and she is very knowledgable about the town. I had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it to others.
