I had a wonderful stay with Marge. The house was quiet and peacful. I enjoyed having the choice between using the ceiling fan or turning on the air conditioner for my room. The beautiful stained glass window was a nice surprise. The tastefull decorations brings your stress level down several notches. Rowchelle

Friendly, comfortable, clean, convenient. Bill and Marge are very accommodating. We would recommend staying toward the back of the house if you're a light sleeper or need a fully dark room (although ear plugs and a sleep mask might work too!).

I was so fortunate to find The Rose of Sherron, via an online search last year. My friend and I stayed there for the 1st time while attending the Indy Car race weekend at Mid Ohio (July, '08). The price was VERY reasonable, Marge is a fantastic hostess, and the accommodations were cozy...not too mention in close proximity to Mid Ohio. We're planning on returning for the race in August. Plus, Marge kept in touch (inre: our summer plans) during the winter...you can't ask for a more friendly and "homey" touch. :). I am so thankful I stumbled upon The Rose of Sherron...it really was "a home away from home" for 4 days! Martha M. Cincinnati, Ohio

Staying at The Rose has been an annual tradition for us for 18 years now, and something we always look forward to. Marge and Bill have become dear friends, and everything is always perfect. You won't find a more beautiful bed and breakfast anywhere, nor nicer proprietors. Everyone should experience it.

I was raised in the Crawford County area and have family members who still live there. Because our we continue to grow in number, it is more difficult to stay with family members on visits "home". The Rose of Sherron - is truly "home away from home!" Marge is wonderful. She is very friendly and helpful. I do not think there is a single "base" she does not have covered. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The decor is impeccable. It truly gives one the feeling of a "homey elegance". Even when we cannot stay for breakfast, there are always "goodies" there. Marge is an awesome cook. While dining options are not abundant in this smaller community, the cuisine she prepares is wonderful. I cannot recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast heartily enough.

We just had our second stay at Rose of Sherron and will be back! The proprietor is very friendly, easy to talk to and takes good care of us. I spent hours talking to Marge while my husband was working. She does everything she can to make your stay memorable. The house and furnishings are all done in the period of the house and are comfortable and welcoming. I cannot say enough good about the Rose. Barb

The original stained-glass window overlooks the dining room, full of exquisite quarter-sawn furniture. Guests admire and dine under the room's original brass chandelier, while reflecting on the history of the 115-year-old home.The Innkeepers' Welsh and English heritage is celebrated in the Pub. Authentic Pub collectibles surround the room from floor to ceiling, providing a calming atmosphere in which to work, read, play board games and relax.
The King Bed Suite is "The Rose's" most romantic guestroom, with its spacious surroundings, luxurious furnishings, stained-glass window, and convenient bath. A sitting area with twin recliners provides work space for business executives, as well.The restful queen bedroom is chosen for its calming color palette in shades of teal, peach and taupe. In addition, guests have abundant storage in the large-scale "Waterfall" furniure and walk-in closet; a must for long-term visits.
